Heya noydie mate, still not smoking and don't really see myself starting back up, it's been over a month with not smoking and 6 days without any patches

Just pulled out a 1/4 oz of indica buds I've had water curing. I picked em up a week or two ago and got the worst headache after smoking them that I can remember having in a long time. Being hungover would have been much preferable to the pounding. I wasn't 100% sure that it was the buds that did it, but I decided not to take any chances and water cure em.
They actually ended up looking better than before I started, heh. I'll post some pics tomorrow or the next day when they're dry again. Got em spread out on a flyscreen frame with a fan blowing over them overnight.
Also about 6/12 of the seeds I'm starting have cracked; 3 x FMS C99, 6 x Mandala Satori and 3 x Nirvana fem Aurora Indica. Might have already had the first casualty though, one of the AI has come out weird, hard to explain (again, will post a pic) but the taproot curled like a corkscrew and ended up coming out of the soil(!). Probably a goner but we'll see.

Here's a bud of the water cured stuff.
I know nothing about this strain (I didn't grow it) other than it's very indica-dominant, and appears to have been grown with chem ferts.
It was pretty strong already, but after the water cure it's even stronger.
I only smoke one pipeful at a time, twice a day or so, and I find now I can get away with an even smaller coneful than usual. Too much and I find it a bit hard to function, even stumble/sway a bit...really heavy eyelids, red eyes, the works.
Having said that, it's not as good for pain as the other strain I have atm, which I'll post a pic of as well. I've been getting bad neck pain the last month or two - I had a bad case of whiplash a few years back - and indicas have been helping relax the muscles and relieve the pain. Used to only hurt before it rains, now everyday.
Also helps my back (3 fractured vertebrae, separate incident to the neck).
Here's the other unknown indica.
I didn't grow this one either, but I got it directly from the grower. Grown DWC and cured very nicely. Not as in-your-face as the above bud, but a very relaxing and comfy stone. It also seems to help my pain as I mentioned. Nice flavour, very clean tasting and more trichs than the other strain.
I opened my work bag today after nearly 2 weeks holiday and found a clippy bag with a couple of grams of this still in it!...I thought I had finished it, so that was a bonus.
I apologize for the blurry pics, these were the best out of about 8 tries each...couldn't get a decent shot tonight for the life of me.

The water sured stuff burns nicely to a pleasing light grey/white ash. Not a full 7-day cure, the water was changed every 24 hours for 3 days then turned over responsibilities to a mate for the next 3 days while I went away...sat there for that whole 3 days with the lid on without getting changed once lol.
Luckily, none for the worse in the end.
Btw, that pipe in the pic...it's a PiecePipe, and they kick ass. 99% of the bud I've smoked in the past year or two has been through this thing. Check out their site if you're interested:

Well, it's hot as hell here and DRY! but Mangoes love this weather when they're flowering/setting fruit. so just to brighten the thread during these in-between-times, here's two mango pics from my garden. as you see there will be a juicy harvest come Christmastime.
