Anyone using Dyna-gro Grow 7-9-5 and coco?

Whats up IC, I just recently started using dyna-gro Grow formula with coco and not sure if my plants are really diggin it. Ive read its not the best ratio for cannabis, but thats what I have at the moment so I'm gonna try to use it.

I'm wondering if I should be using calmag with this since I'm in coco or if dyna-gros magpro supplement would be better? Also any tips on using Dyna-gro bloom in coco would be great is this is my first run with that as well. Appreciate any feedback! :tiphat:

I use Dyna Grow with great success in coco.I throw everything else in there with it, cal-mag, silicone etc.I've tried several different ratios of the GH 3 part but none have come close to how well things go with Dyna Grow.I might have some pics somewhere of a Dyna grow veg.I add about 2tsp/gal cal-mag and 1 tsp/gal of Silica Blast. Here's a picture of Dyna Grow at work in veg...I swear you'll love it!

Yeah, those look really good! Is your cal/mg from Botanicare? I would also like to hear your formulas for veg and bloom.

Slip those girls look nice and healthy.

Dyna-Gro has given me great results in Coco. I am currently using All Pro in veg but will be switching back to Grow when it runs out. Grow and Bloom formulas have higher micro concentrations then Foliage Pro or All Pro.

Grow
ProTekt
Botanicare's CalMag

I mix between .8 and 1.0 EC

Thats all I use for Moms and Vegging in coco.

I use about a tsp/gal of DynaGrow(1000ppm) and GH cal-mag.My flower schedule is basically the Lucas formula with a bit less of the dry koolbloom. In the Rez forum there's a sticky called "The Rezipe", I follow that give or take.:)

Do you use 2 tsp of calmag all the way threw veg? Seems like a lot of calmag to me, but I've heard of people using large amounts and having great success which you obviously are!

I load up on the stuff.I have an RO tank with about 50 gal and I add cal-mag @250ppms before I start mixing. It prob comes close to 2+ tsp/gal when it's all done.If you look in my gallery, in the sour bx album you'll see what happens with cal-mag all the way through.Even in flush I use 250ppms.:) But yes, I use that much cal-mag from seed to smoke.:tiphat:This is another veg plant with loads of cal-mag and DynaGrow.

10ml a gallon does seem high I use 2ml\G which puts me about 120ppm at .7 but you just cant argue with those girls being in such good health. Maybe ill bump up my calmag to see how it goes.

Honestly, I think I use more cal-mag than any other product I have in my shop. Sometimes with the Chems I use a solid 3tsp/gal. I've made the mistake before of using too much and nothing ever came of it aside from giant, green plants.:) I still can't say enough about the DynaGrow , my moms grow like crazy and I'm constantly cutting them back.Plus it's a bit easier to use a one part than a 3 part, esp when your eyes are failing and tsp turn to tbsp so I keep my ppm meter handy!:)

I use both DNYA-GROW and CAL MAG.
Very good products!
My Girls are lush.
When I change nutrient water I feed my citrus with the week old brew.
Bumper Crop from both fruit producers!

Currently using GROW 7-9-5 in Flower actually. One of my best looking grows yet. I also run about 100ppm of Cal Mag and 2ml of Silica Blast with it.

I'm about to give this a shot - a little timid about coco but jumping in none the less. I have tap water of 180 PPM, should I still use cal-mag? I remember looking at the city water chart, I want to say it had a good amount. don't remember the ratios.

Actualyl we switched to Foliage Pro and like it better. It's 9-3-6

yeah, i used FP in veg and grow/bloom in flower. they're both awesome. silica throughout.

I know they both have cal-mag in them, so I'm thinking with my hard water I'm good.

I'm just a little timid doing coco for the first time, switching from promix.

I wouldn't call your water overly hard. The upper end of the average but totally fine. I do not think you'll need extra Cal-Mag but having a little around won't hurt in the event you do need it. A bottle is like $12 and it should last you a long time even if you wind up needing it on the regular. Totally worth the investment for the peace of mind knowing you can tinker if/when you have to.
