Autopot, coco and AHH -hydro nutes story

Hi there folks! Im going to tell you a story and let you tell me how you think it will end.

Once upon a time someone somewhere set up a grow with over 40 autopots (using easy2grow 2pot sets), coco/ perlite and with one big reservoir of about 700L using Advanced hydroponics of holland hydro -nutes. 600W of HPS light were provided for every 6 plants. They were to be given about 30 days veg.

Now this someone somewhere is wondering if any problems will arise from having such a big reservoir. Will the water-nutes stay mixed and good for longer times or would an airstone be of any help in a res this size? Any experience with this type of nutes for coco?

Ofcourse the res would not be filled to the top each time but according to the plants needs, but towards the end of this story the res might need to be filled to the max each time.

Any help with giving this story a good ending is welcome!

If I was someone somewhere who had a similar set up... id go with a dtw drip system. If possible... if I was a somebody someplace in time this would b an ideal setup. Your setup is good too.. do t get me wong... airstone may hrlp if there will b alot of water sitting for a length oof time. Also algae slime will start to grow. Not good. Dtw doesnt allow this.

If your talking about drip already and the res is seperate from the plants then an airstone would b good. Im assuming you mean the 40 r sitting in the 700l res.

This someone has been considering DTW but ended up with autopots which are underfed, the medium is watered viacapillary effect and no nute mix is wasted. This may need an extra flush once in a while with hydro nutes but shouldnt be a problem.
