This was news to me. Anyone else hear of different OTC contaminant tests?

NTRR: Lab Analysis to Begin on Groundbreaking Contaminants Test
BusinessWire - 5:00 AM ET
SARASOTA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 1, 2013-- Neutra Corp. (OTCBB: NTRR), a provider of all-natural wellness solutions, announced today that it’s working to finalize a laboratory agreement to begin analyzing a simple, affordable new system for testing nutraceutical concentrates for harmful contaminants.

Led by Dr. Richard C. Kaufman, the company’s new head of research and development in the $42 billion nutraceuticals industry, NTRR is developing a disposable system for testing oils, butters, tinctures, resins and other concentrates derived from medical marijuana (MMJ) for contaminants. Before releasing and marketing the product, however, NTRR must perform qualitative analysis to determine its efficacy under a variety of lab conditions.

“Obviously, it’s crucial that we prove this system works before releasing it into the marketplace,” said NTRR CEO Sydney Jim. “There’s nothing like this on the market today, which is why we have such high expectations for its performance. Rigorous lab analysis is the first step toward making it easier than ever before to ensure safe, potent cannabinoid extractions for MMJ patients everywhere.”

As hundreds of thousands of patients in approved markets turn to more efficient MMJ delivery methods, extractions such as butane hash oil, cannabutter, isohash and others are rapidly increasing in popularity. However, imperfect production of these tinctures and oils can pose significant health risks. Many cannabis oils, for example, are extracted using potentially harmful substances such as butane. NTRR is developing an easy, disposable test that will help nutraceutical users determine if their customized remedies are pure and free of contaminants.

By providing innovative nutraceutical products and services such as new MMJ breakthroughs, Neutra Corp. plans to follow in the footsteps of other successful public companies including Cannabis Science, Inc. (OTCBB: CBIS), Medical Marijuana Inc. (OTCBB: MJNA) and Terra Tech Corp. (OTCBB: TRTC), delivering technological advancements in the cultivation and processing of cannabis in approved markets.

It should be quite nice in the developing market. There are a handful of publicly traded companies that are taking advantage of the legalization/regulation, all pretty much penny stocks at this point. Some of these companies' initial offer was over a couple hundred dollars (see CBIS) which is crazy to think, down to fractions of a dollar. I have a feeling that any company that survives the next year or so will rise pretty quickly if all goes relatively smoothly in the legalized/regulated states.

Yea this will be nice to have around. I may actually consider dabbing oils I didnt make myself... maybe.. They need one for herb too, that would be ideal. Good call on the stock, what better stock to make my first stock market endeavor.

I bet they will be 20$ a test at least starting off...

Respect,

as an investment i would check the company out - some off these could be a money bin where the boss gets a high pay and with time as investors stop funding because the ideas and pepol behind the company ditten make it happen they company goes broke and all investors loose there money - i would jugde this as a very high risk stock but thats not bad if 1 is aware off that fact

Check the pepol out behind the company are they solid pepol that have made succesfull bizz before and see if they have the lab space and pepol to make it happen - there are many things to think about when making an investment in a company

I need to identify a potential contaminate in some oil samples I have that are growing terminated crystals. I have yet to find a lab that will say they can identify whatever it may be..Hoping its something active but I have my doubts. See my albums for more details. ..
