Welcome jbones! Did you start growing in '81?
Old timer myself, trying to hold my own w/ these young bucks. :D

Jeesh Slip, you back to smokin' on the 'Magic Haze'? No dew drops here either, just the crickets chirping away last night. Think they could feel the cold coming on, but it was a treat to hear 'em this late in the yr. :)
Oct. is usually my fav month outdoors, but it's going to have to be a dandy to beat Sept!

budelight, nice work!

Here's my Honey White #3 @ 62 days, smelling like bubblegum on the vine.

Can I shrink these images with the bbcode? I tried dragging the corner to make it smaller but it doesn't stick.

Fuckin nice plant DZL!
Is that the hydrogrowled above her?
Was looking at their lineup yesterday and just seems too expensive for a small grower like me.

Thanks, and no, I ordered it from Evergrow, but the company isn't selling singles anymore unless you are a previous customer. I believe that they manufacture several of the products we see for sale elsewhere.

You can get these specs from DIY or other companies, nothing super special about it. 90 degree lenses in the centers of the clusters, 60s in the middle part of the clusters, and 30s on the edges. From the outside in : 660, 630, 460, 430, cool white, warm white, and 730. 5:5:1:1:1:1:1 It may seem like there isn't enough blue, it's in the whites. Only draws 306 watts using 135 3watt leds I want to build a better one, but I have too many hobbies already... if you DIY spread the clusters apart a bit this unit would be capable of a better foot print That being said, I also have it way too low right now, just dicking around. At the proper height it handles 3x3 pretty well so far, but like I said could be improved.

WORD!

If i was going to DIY it (which sounds very doable and fun btw) I would make a vertical cylinder and spread the LEDs around the vertical post.

Sounds like a pretty nice project for Thunderbird diy-o-rama.......

Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM), how much would that many led's cost and what else would i need other than an electrical cord? :good:

You got me thinking....

Story Time....

Story Time....

So it was in 07 and I remember the awe, it was awesome and overwhelming to finally join what I considered the big league in my chosen field of expertise....There was one poster I was particularly taken with, foolishly assuming by the username it was a female who shared my passion for weed and weed plant's and strains I was chrushing on Lilly who not only had the biggest buds I'd ever seen but alas also had a set of hairy boy's and a :peacock: welcome to the internet I thought; let the bromance ensue.....I was criticized by some in the previous version of this very thread for having the audacity to openly ask for cuts in the thread, don't do it new comers, totally not worth it.....but my pal Lilly (who I just recently learned is also a male, lesbian, heterosexual what are the od's I'm saying ) sent me a pm and we went from there...included with some cuts and stuff were 10 killer chemdog seeds and one sour larry plant that was found in a pack of elite seeds
the larry by itself is a east coast legend in her own right and while I didn't find a great female from the killer chem
I did find a frosty, stinky ,male......enter larrydog, it took 3 years and many beans of great plants to narrow it down to this girl to represent the strain I nicknamed her frost monster and shes just now starting to make her way into others hearts and gardens......if you get a chance at her give her a go she may surprise you

Three cheers for Lil! :friends: He's been a benefactor to many here, and the thread certainly suffers when he's not around.
If there was such a thing as a ICMag Hall of Fame, he'd be in it in my book.
Hat's off! :tiphat:

That is one of my Sour Nevils X ECSD.I took a bunch of clones from all the seedlings and filled 3gal pots with about 4-5 each.I'm more than a little happy at how they're coming out.The mom of that one^^ is 7'6" tall in a 15-20 gal bushel basket sea clammers use, the "original" airpot :) I cut out some lower branches from some of the 9'ers and exposed the Chem D x Topanga and boy does that plant look good!! Looks like she wants to go about 80 days, I figured more like 70 but you never know.:thank you:
The great weather continues!:woohoo:

I gotta 2nd the thumbs up on larrydog. GWB made a real nice selection on that male. Grew out several of those beans and not a bad plant to be found. But the chosen female is a winner in every way.

Here she is. LarryDog #2 AKA Frost Monster:

She's greasy, fast finishing, very fat, and full on chem funk.

Here's another new love of mine

Pre 2k Blueberry Sativa:

Both of these gonna be in my stable for a long long time.

SLIP!!!! WOW .... those look delicious man! I'd snip those stacked calyx' straight into a bowl! Do they exhibit the tell tale ECSD traits/stench?
Was talking w Ras at my new place and I might try out what you did but run a shallow tray with 5 gal total soil and stick in 6 fresh rooted clones ... top em day of the flip and just keep doing that cause I got a nice spot but only got 3-3.5' of height ..... drop a nice 8bulb t5 over top.

Nice looking pre2k .... if its the same as what we got she is a dream .... love those flowers! Nice looking larryDog

The Pre2k is a cut that was passed to me from a friend in the NE area. She is definitely a pleasure to grow. Only one person I can think of that doesn't love her, and he just doesn't really like blueberry. Everyone else raves about her.

My keeper pheno of Kraken at day 40:

She's short and stocky, frosts up real nice, done in 8 weeks, and super potent. Lots of leaves though some major defoliation is required to get any kind of penetration. Well worth the effort. Most of the other phenos were somewhat purply from the father, but this one has a skunky sweet cat pissy aroma.
