Supernatural, Strange and Otherwise

I find it scary that some people can look at others that they identify as being different to themselves, and dehumanise them. It's then a very small step to take to feel free to treat them any way imaginable. There is evil in the world, but it is entirely human, and would not stand out in a crowd.

well said, it's dangerous to start thinking like this about people. i'm sure we have all seen people that are evil mofos sometimes, but then turn around and give some bum 20 bucks. man can be both very evil and very good in the same person sometimes. we have all heard this story. but yeah, it's no good calling a human a demon, my mate i was talking about told me he saw an actual demon. not human, it was red apparently.

it does seem to be true that if you begin to think and study this stuff all the time, your chances of seeing what you are studying go up 10 fold. at least that seems to be the case, both with alien contact and demonic rituals. personally i stay away from looking to deep down that rabbit hole. i feel the advise to stay away from that stuff in religious texts is probably very good advise.

Sort of like how you treat anyone who doesn't subscribe to your fully automatic myth.

In my experience it's also true that when you are confronted with an experience that reeks of synchronicity and try to rationalize it as 'just a coincidence', you will very quickly have another truly bizarre experience that you will be unable to deny IS synchronicity - kinda like 2 coincidence merging together at the same time or even spanning a period of several years if that makes sense.

After all, we are all connected and act as individuals and as a group.
We are electrical beings and our thoughts are broadcast even as we remain unaware.

When two or more people project the same strong desire, synchronicity happens.

One other thing I've noticed is that the energy fueling a lot of supernatural experiences seems to be very, very strong human emotions, which is one of the reasons that 'powers' can't be demonstrated in an artificial environment like a scientific experiment.:tiphat:

Here is one for you...

Previous owner of my home died just as he finished building the house.

House was vacant for a couple of years, I bought it and my wife swears the old guy's ghost was a "resident" when we moved in.

Her Aunt came over to "bless the house" a month or so after we moved in...that spelled the end of the "wierdness"..
FYI:
We didn't ask her, she just does it to all the relatives....she is very "churchy"...me and my wife are very NON-religious, skeptics...

Here was what my wife considered wierdness

We don't drink milk....either myself or my wife... Nasty stuff, used for coffee and cooking only (before our son was born).... In the first month of moving in we found milk glasses on the counter in the morning a few times...just a bit of milk left in the bottom... Wife blamed me thinking I was drinking it while medicated....I know I would never chug a glass of milk...ever...PREVIOUS owner had a few Dairy cows and according to the neighbor made his own cheese, etc. etc.

Besides that we had a few bumps in the night(door slamming shut)...

I actually thought we might have had someone squatting in the attic (checked it out even)...

So after the blessing the "wierdness" stopped and no more milk glasses or slamming doors....

I'm one of the biggest skeptics out there, but just thinking about those empty glasses gives me the shivers...

I had one today. I can't tell the full story, because it would reveal my identity publicly.

I had this great day at work today. Things were bad financially. Then I got the call. I cleared $5,000 at my day job and get a very good commission on that.

Of the money I started with? I had $2 left at the end of the day today. I decided to get a coffee with that cash.

On the one dollar bill, written in blue ink was this.

Money. Comes. Now. and...

I am a millionaire. That was written across the top.

On the 4 corners of the bill was written "10" the treasury numbers in the 4 corners.

Today is the first day of the tenth month. Also, the month and year today correspond with an important number that corresponds to something specific about my business.

I really needed this money to stay in the game of life. And it all came together without physically doing anything, it all just synchronistically came together.

Possibly, because it's meant to be. Or maybe it's just me listening to the universe.

Also, I made the exact amount of money that I need to break even, more or less.

How odd is that?

And, as I typed that out. I got a call for another job. So it's back to work. Money. Comes. Now.

Edit:

(just got home)

I live in a major city. I've seen 100's and 1,000's of mentally ill people over the years. Here, Boston, Chicago, New York. For some reason, these are the only two demons I've seen. It is what it is.

Plenty of one legged guys in wheelchairs rolling around in rainstorms, and autistic street dancers on the same corner dancing everyday for 9 hours, and people with wild arguments with oneself, and random shouting into the air screaching at those that aren't there, drunk, sleeping in the gutter.

These were animal like creatures, not people. I've seen people of all kinds. I've seen animals of all kinds. These were alien in nature and not human. Either you can deal with that or you can't. Be there or be square.

Ok Ok...Ghost story.

I grew up in an old Colonial type house in New England built around 1800. Front hall with 2 front parlors originally (split to duplex much later) that was one of the first Funeral homes. Owner of the house had the street named after him.

Really dark, almost black out, stormy early winter afternoon. I'm about 11-12 sitting in the dining room doing homework while Mom's ironing laundry with the empty dark living room behind me. We're kinda talking, kinda not, just doing our thing when I get a unbelievable chill go up the back of my neck like something really bad is behind me. The kind of feeling when you wake up from dozing while driving...OH SHIT! feeling.

I whipped around and see a black shape of a tall man, blacker than the dark room, and where the eyes should be is even blacker than that. Fuck me. I'm scared.

MOM LOOK! I turned and turned back to see the black fade like smoke. My mom goes What? all worried like. Didn't see anything.

I saw what I saw, and I saw it finishing not being there.

The living room was dark as normal again and no shadows or something that could be mistaken like a coat on a hanger or a car passing by a window.
The thing that freaked me out was not seeing something , but the intense sense of terror BEFORE I saw anything. This was NOT Caspar the Friendly Ghost.

Maybe a former customer stopping by? Dunno, but it was real as a heart attack.

Glad I don't believe in ghosts.

huh, how about that...........

yeah, make sure when ever you see someone smart, you knock them down for being so uppity.

i don't have any issues with "the supernatural", what i do have issues with is people telling everyone else how things are.

you want to learn about the supernatural? smoke some weed and get natural. see REAL things and observe REAL spirit. you want to diminish your awareness in an ocean of the unverifiable, you read ghost stories online. and, if you want to fill peoples' heads with bullshit, you start talking about ghost stories or anything else the spoonfed masses don't know much about, soon they won't have a clue about what reality looks like, only a million phony stories.

sure, there can be demons. don't let other people tell you what they look like, then you'll know 'em honest when you see 'em.

think about how many americans live, grow old and die and have no fucking thing in their life ever except artifical bullshit told to them by people to keep them pacified and befuddled in fairy stories. that's fucking monstrous.

dude, supermod dude, you didn't even see where i was coming from, you just ran straight over me anyway.

partial quote? never a good sign.
had no idea what this was about till i went back to check.

so where were you coming from if it wasn't a sarcastic comment about people who believe in the supernatural. instead of complaining that you were misunderstood, make your meaning clear.

i just did, dude.

i said, and you can check and see it for yourself, that online stories about the supernatural ain't the way to do it. firsthand experience is the way to an authentic awareness, instead of a misleading, inauthentic awareness.

see what i said now?
you want to learn about the supernatural? smoke some weed and get natural. see REAL things and observe REAL spirit.

there are also good reasons why you don't want to go posting online for everyone to read about where your spiritual development is at.

One night, maybe 15 years ago I was riding along with a friend. It was about 9 pm at night. It was dark out, in the city/suburbs. I saw a woman with 2 heads driving a car.

One, two heads and one body. The passenger seat was unoccupied.

I was afraid that if she looked at me, I might freeze or turn to stone. I tried to get my friend to look over, but we headed into the turn lane and the car continued onward. I was petrified.

This one was more of a medical miracle situation, or a medical oddity. I usually start this story told the world over by saying - I seen it, I seen it! I saw her. She looked at me! The woman with two heads. She looked at me! I saw her.

People love hearing the excitement when I'm reminded of the story and can really get swept back there. I start yelling I saw her, and then jump into the story.
