Growing sour diesel with house and garden nutrients

does anybody have any feed back growing sour diesel with house and garden? this will be my first run using this product. i just switched from gh. im growing in promix hp. i would love some feed back. especially for the top shooter. it seems like its a little hot to feed my sours. I have friends that run fire o.g and just follow the h&g feed schedule with no problems but fire o.g is a indica. I understand that sativas have a different nutrient requirements. It would be great to get some feed back from a more experienced grower. thanks

follow the feed chart as far as the additives, but IME, you don't need to go over 1.5ec which shouldn't be over 8ml/gal of base + additives. different gardens will have different results, but in my experience(2 spots, four different style grows all fed h&g) the feed charts recommended ml/gal of base is way too high. I grow in coco as well, so your results will be a bit different. I have fed 1.0ec all the way through flower with great results.

I've used sitting powder, but have replaced it with MOAB, but I recommend starting@1/2-1/4 of the recommended dose. I run really low ppms, so I don't really have to, but lowering the amount of a&b when using the shooting powder is something else I can recommend.

just base, 5ml/gal is where I start and sometimes stay, your sour diesel may require a bit more, but you probably won't have to go higher... I've never grown sd. good luck!

there is food grade hydrogen peroxide its at 32 percent you will need to dilute it to 3 percent. that stuff is like a nuke it kills everything good and bad bacteria.

rock solid

nice one azad forget to point it out anyhow heres a little rundown , 1L HYDROGEN PEROXIDE 35%-FOOD GRADE

Molecular formula:H2O2

Hydrogen peroxide is the only germicidal agent composed only of water and oxygen. Like ozone, it kills disease organisms by oxidation! Hydrogen peroxide is considered the worlds safest all natural effective surface sanitizer. It kills microorganisms by oxidizing them, which can be best described as a controlled burning process. When hydrogen peroxide reacts with organic material it breaks down into oxygen and water.

USES

What is Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide?

Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide
is a naturally occurring water-like liquid that has many practical applications (household disinfectant, natural personal care product, pool and spa disinfecting, plants, etc.) both inside and outside the home.

Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide is made up of two hydrogen atoms and two oxygen atoms. Hydrogen Peroxide looks like water (H2O), but that extra oxygen molecule makes this natural water additive one of the most powerful oxidizers known to man. It is formed in nature by the action of sunlight on water, and even in honey!

You are probably already familiar with using the low grade 3% hydrogen peroxide in your medicine cabinet as an antiseptic on cuts and scrapes. Being a powerful oxidizer, Hydrogen Peroxide kills bacteria, viruses and fungi. This means it is also great for disinfecting your kitchen and bathroom. You can make your household cleaner and safer just by substituting Hydrogen Peroxide for those caustic chemicals you are currently using.

Did you know that your body makes Hydrogen Peroxide to fight infection? It is a fact that Hydrogen Peroxide must be present for our immune system to function correctly. White blood cells are known as Leukocytes. Leukocytes are divided into three classes: Granulocytes, Lymphocytes and Monocytes. Granulocytes are themselves divided into three classes: Neutrophils, Eosinophils and Basophils. Neutrophils produce Hydrogen Peroxide as the first line of defense against toxins, parasites, bacteria, viruses and yeast.

I'll chime in- SD loves the H&G. Like other people have mentioned, most Diesels (this one in particular) do not care for shooting powder or top shooter. They are ok to use if you have already purchased them, however, I would advise on 30%-50% application rate. Moab works alright. Overdrive works well. I usually go light on the shooting powder and also add some Sugaree from Cutting Edge at full strength to frost them up. Cutting Edge also has a Sour Dee formulation of sugaree that will do the same thing for sour genetics in particular.

All other additive can be used at full strength with this line. Most of your ppm/EC variation will come in the amount of Base A&B you use. I tend to run between 7ml-10ml of Base in most weeks of flower.

HAve you ever grown in Coco? You should do a test of a Aerated coco mix (ie Botanicare ReadyGro Aeration) against the pro mix. The coco will blow it away imo.

If you are in the first week or two of flower, you might think about using a Bud Blood or BBud Ignitor product. OOne thing I have noticed about SD is that it does most of its bulking right at the end. Helping it get started early can bbe beneficial.

My keyboard is messed up.. I'll stop by later if you have questions.

i have used coco before but the readygro moisture formula. i dont want to use the aeration because of the times i need to water. i have 15 600 watts and watering 60 plants 2 to 3 times daily can be a pain.
