- cab is 58 X 38 X 78 cm height.

picture.php

*reflector has been pulled, it was too hot with it.
it's a very simple, cheap build, with a resin cab and some fruit boxes cut. cardboard on the bottom for intake.

- soil is PLAGRON light MIX
- fan is inline 125mm and 1m tubing - a 80mm pc Antec fan directed on the bulb
- GiB 150w HPS bulb, Sonlight electronic ballast
- FERTS are my old ones: some soil super mix from bionova, bloombastic, and a couple of drops superthrive (it's over, not planning to buy it again)
- I'm on 18/6, will switch 12/12 by the end of the month
- lighttite reflective material (directly pinned to the plastic of the cab)
- temp/rh
- legrand timer

Strains:
1X fem Durga Mata
3X Wappa X unknown sativa (hope to get most ladies...)

were started in a 50W pc - then moved in the cab ten days ago.

I'll pull up a chair. :)

thanks hush ;)
I don't think it's going to be that much of an harvest, provided they're all females!!
...just some good ol' lst in a mini cab :)

btw: pots are 2,5l and temp is 30-32 °C top these days.

HI :)
- Plants are 1 month since seeds wer put to germ.
- they started bounce back from the severe supercropping after 4-5 days, and I added today another twisty tie to keep their heads down (they're 6-7cm, 2-3" now, above pot)
- 3-4 leaves per plant were removed, and they had a good watering with 1ml/l veg and a hint (0.2?) of bloom.
- ph was a bitch: initial mild yellowing of lower leaves and some tiny white tips on healthy ones led me to guess I wasn't doing it right; turned out my water-filter was out (7+) and replaced with a new one (6-), so runoff turned out proper hopefully (6.5 circa). That's why I went easy on ferts this time, too.

-RH is rather low, 25%-50%, while temps have dropped to 30°C max

I'll switch as planned by the end of the month: not too big (pots are 2.5l and I don't plan to transplant again) and not too small (in case one or more turn males... :S)
I have to finish sealing the cab too...... :-D

plants are OK after a month and a couple of days.
last major LST today, and switched to 12/12 :) !

*fan seems to work better in that position - max 28°C and 36-60 RH these days.

switching to flo since they grew quite fast, and my pots aren't that big. good to see they recovered from N shortage. Today I watered with plain water, they probably used the lighmix soil' ferts these days, but I'll have to start fert veg/bloom soon.

Here they are after the treatment - now to the sexing......
picture.php

*they're about 7" (18,5cm) from the bulb.
I'm tempted to switch to a sylvanya bulb, it grew such fat colas my first run... GiB and philips didn't, and no matter how many cfls were on, too.
While GiB has done a wonderful job keeping them compact, as it did last time I used it. philips meh, jack of all trades, master of none imho.

they're growing fast atm, and had to tie them down again today.
supercrop has built some nice elbows on each plant:

Only snapped one main stem on a wappaXsativa (50% off) with LST and saw lower branches take some kind of lead, compared to other plants:

they're 4" tall average, and had 4-5 leaves per plant removed today, which were in the way or at the bottom sweeping the soil

they're still full of N, I went with plain water last days, and today 0.4ml/l bloomB. and two drops superthrive.

they're quite bushy and dense; I hope I can nail the chopchop along the way now... not too little/much :)

Hows superthrive work for ya?
This is lookin dank!

hi warlock :)
it's strong stuff. I used it much in my first grow, like 0.5ml/l every two waterings.
I now only pour 1/2 drops every three weeks, it's almost over and I dunno if I'll buy it again.
Good energetic all-around, but stinks bad and god only knows what's inside it lol......

they're 4/4 females! :)
and since 3 of them were from regular seeds (a sativa male who pollinated my wappas before I pulled him) I've been quite lucky!

At least, I will be able to test how the full tray yelds... :)

(*so now I hope there's no pheno requiring 10-12 weeks... since I don't know what I crossed the wappa with... it was random, common sativa bagseed :clock watch:)

edit: they're 4-5 days flowering, and they're still super green, so I went plain water again... I didn't LST this week because I'd like them to stretch at least a little... if I exagerate and train every couple days I "may" end with an even canopy but little balls... while I'd like some colas to grow and develop in height instead...
we'll see, it's my first horiz setup after all...

I'm constantly dreaming about a bigger setup again... with decent strains... but at least this one will (hopefully) keep me happy and fill a couple jars for christmas ;-)
And thinking about upgrades and stuff... even though the only thing I'd change right now is the inline fan (shit is just too loud, unbearable really) with a couple 120mm pc fans (one at the beginning, and one at the end of the 125mm alu flexible tube)... I think that's the first thing I'll do, that cheap inline is just insane......

NKOTS, Killerweed, Massud, thanks for the kind comments! :)

little 2 weeks flowering update:
picture.php

*Durga mata bottom left in both pics - indeed looks lighter/green - different build/structure

just started showing some bottom yellowing (at last! they seemed to be pretty late feeders this round) even if they look supergreen at the top.
Went 0.5ml/l bloom and 2ml/l veg - biggest feeding yet.

Haven't tied much since... just supercropped down a few, "wildest" shoots.
these plants need low mainteinance :)

UPDATE :)

The Durga Mata is showing last run's traits: solvent-benzene scent, and full of colas shooting out at the middle of the stem:

The crosses are taller, lankier, resin is coming late. But they're building a nice cola structure.
One pheno is fruity like her mother, the other two just have no scent yet:

I've bought 3 120mm pc fans, to replace the inline. Gonna do it soon if I'm not too lazy...
