^ Some of those the Chem d and Chemmyjones ?
Pic above looks like one of them.

Yep some of them are a very kind gift from Buff :) If your watching bro many thanks for the ladies :tiphat:

Very nice!

Great use of a 250 :woohoo:

What feed are they getting?

Hey bro, I am always impressed with how much I get from the 250 watt in the RW slabs. I am feeding at 1.7 e.c in coco using 15ml bloom, 10ml Micra, 5ml Grow and 10ml BigBud per 10 litres of water.
Now you can see why I tried that with the LED set up but it has not worked as well. :tiphat::ying:

Whooohooo, looking great DD !!
Hope your LED Ladies are doing better by now, don't give up on them so easyily.
dump the res, give em some rest and a fresh start with calibrated tools, I'm sure they'll come back.
Maybe a bit easier on the nutes for the start/recovery, but who am I telling this ...

all the best wishes, keep it up buddy

Hey mate, I have leached the system and reduced nutes to 0.6 and re calibrated ph probe, so hopefully it will not be long before an improvement is made.

Come on now you know your weren't laughing

Your right mate I am not laughing at the state of the plants but with the help of you guys I am on the road to laughter about all this and learning from it :)

you kept those quiet dd

I always have something else up my sleeve my friend as have 2 rooms :)

Peace

Interesting to Hear the Plants need less food under the LEDS
Must be the Light Spectrums feeding the Plant Right up

A real Step Fwd

hi Dope time!

The light, "traditional" or from an LED source, is just the energy that the plant transforms into matter through photosynthesis. It doesn't "feed" the plant at all, without nutrients all the light in the world is useless
I don't think they'l need less nutrients for the same result, but transpiration is def. much lower, as there's less heat from the LEDs.
Therfore you'll need to water less often...or refill recirc. system less often...
LEDs get hot too, but the heat is moved away, usually through a heat sink on the back of the LED chip and then vented out, whereas with a HPS or MH it comes out the front in form of radiation. That's why all the manufactuerers of LED panels have to use thermo conductive glue for mounting of LED panels
It's important to uderstand this imo.

Happy growing !

Why Important

Info is Always Evolving Cc
Why is it important? I hope that is undetectable sarcasm, it should be obvious why understanding some fundamentals of photosynthesis are important. The point of using LEDs is to increase the PAR beaming on your plants.

hey cc,
so if you water less, with less nutrients, how do you expect to get normal sized plants? also light moves faster through hotter air,so to reduce temps,is also to reduce the speed at which the photon's travel? this is my understanding on the issue .if it is not correct please enlighten me as i am always willing to learn ?

Hey guys,
hmm not sure my point came across correct...

DZLHIT: What I was trying to say is, and I think I did that in my first post on this: it's important to know this, so nobody thinks they can cut down on their nutes just because they use LEDs for a light source, that's all.

willyweed: I don't! I'm saying the light is NOT "feeding" your plants, so you cannot expect less nutes to be used when using LEDs. not less nutes, but less water overall as transpiration of your plants decreases under LEDs.

Hope this cleared out any misunderstandings...

all the best,
cc

With the LEDs they Apparantly need less Food/Fertilizer Cc
I've Read Here Recently and Although this is My First (Full) Led grow That seems to be the Case i Detect

Vaguely maybe but mine are Small
The Lesser Amount of Heat Slows Watering but I'm TRYING to water Everyday Anyhow

Nice one up yer sleeve, Dank! Beautiful looking lil set up, that.

@ Dope Time. Your running leds as well, Man. Nice one! Can you tell us more about how you do it?
