I'm giving them full strength according to the bottle's instructions. They are growing quite a bit each day now and are looking good. I think I might have a salt build up in about two of the pots, a couple of leaves tips are turning brown. Going to give them a flush with PHed water tomorrow, then back to the normal feeding.

Another question for you, do you leave water at the bottom of ur bucket up to the drain hole?

While mine are young i drained all the water in the bottom because i thought it would just sit theyre stagnant in the hydroton since theres no roots reaching down there to suck it up

My nutrients for the vegetative stage are Bontanicare Cal-Mag Plus, Dyna-Gro Pro-TeKt, House Garden Roots Excelurator, and Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow.

I just fill the buckets till just a little water comes out of the drain whole.

End of Week 3

They are looking good. I can't believe how dense they are though. I really hope these guys start to stretch upwards. I should of filled the buckets with more coco, so they don't sit so low in the buckets.

How long should I wait before I switch them over to flowering? My tent is 6ft tall.

I've moved my light up a bit because these plants are so dense and I should of put more coco in the buckets. That the newer leaves underneath are not getting much light. I really hope these girls start stretching out. I can't believe that I would have the problem of my plants growing to well.

End of Week 5 and Day 1 of Flower

Plants are doing well. They are a lot bigger then I anticipated, the tent is running out of room. The tallest one is about 24 inches tall, so I decided to flip them into flowering.

I'm watering/feeding them everyday now because the pots are completely empty after each day.

Nutrients are still the same except, I'm using Sensi Bloom instead of Grow.

Excellent work. Great job picking up the Lumigrow. I was a beta tester for their very first 300W version ~5 years about. Amazing quality and even better customer service. Their LED's actually hold up to their claims.

Don't worry too much about the vertical space. If you have 24" plants they they will only continue growing upwards for another week or two. With a 6' tent you should be fine, that Lumigrow doesn't put out very much heat at all. Because of the density, just make sure you clean up the very bottoms of the plants that won't be getting any light. It will help them put more energy into developing the tops. Don't be afraid to pull off a couple of the larger fan leaves a few weeks from now either. This will also help the light penetrate the canopy a little better.

defoliation and lollipopping are a must do in lower wattage grows. i still do a ton even with my 1k's. you cant believe how many people said i butchered my plants only to have them explode back with so much vigor. its scary to do when youre new to it but it works for me

Thanks for the advice. I've already cut back some of the lower leaves but definitely will be doing more when they start to get taller.

Nice choice, that will substantially improve the quality of your finished product. Looking forward to seeing how these finish out under the Lumigrow, good luck.
