Cali Connection gear ??

i grew out his ogiesel regs a while back, no herms but plants were all over the place, i did make some very nice f2s from the only 2 decant plants i found, im sure there are killers to be had from his gear but it seems very hit and miss plus the guy seems to have developed an ego issue the past year or so and if you bean fuck up he will blame you, its never his fault.

Let the hate begin!!!!!........... My personal favorite of 50+ strains I have grown is his deadhead og. Makes really nice buds that reak of chemmy rotten funk.(in a good way). Super greasy nugs too. Can't really say about pheno's of it because mine came from a single reg. freebie. Growing his sour diesel, and gsc now too. The sour d kicks ass as a mother, and clones easy. It makes nice nugs and smells really good. His gsc's are looking pretty nice too. Popped a whole six pack and got a couple nice pheno's, one looks almost like the forum. Another phenol I have of it is stacking up nugs just like all my other strains, so I think i'm gonna have a fookie yielder. His blue dream haze sucked ass, and the Buddah Tahoe I had died at the onset of flowering last year outside. You will get mixed reviews of him and his gear. Someone else has said it before and i'll say it again. Aside from swerve being a tool, he does have some good genetics..........
I would recommend other breeders also before Cali conartists gear. I have run his chem valley years ago before all of the bs, it was good. But, I just can't get past all the sketchy stuff he has done. He's publicly named other breeders, sold autoflowering gear and selectively replaced it, and been kicked off of a few forums I know of. So, for me, there are others who deserve my hard earned $.
If you want to know what you are growing buy your seeds somewhere else
I grew his femmed chem#4 x OG kush, and ended up with several 100% males, when I asked him how this could have happened then I first got told it was cause I had gotten the wrong seeds, then I had gotten some other wrong seeds, I think I was told it was 3 or 4 different things before he came up with some far out story about it being genetic, and then finaly I was told I was just a scammer trying to get free seeds, like what the hell would I want free seeds for? so I can waste another 4 month? no thanks....
so my best advice to anyone considering cali con, buy from someone else

ya im just going to have to jump in line here and say i also had a very bad experience with them.... bought a whole bunch of stuff a year or so ago and 80%+ of the beans were completely underdeveloped ... i mean, some of these things were so fucking small and white/dead that i couldnt believe some ritarrrd would actually sit down and package these up. :-\
i think i ended up with a couple original diesels and purple chems, but they looked awful in veg, and with much better genetics on hand i culled them. there are too many options out there today to bother dealing w/ inferior work.
check out Connoisseur Genetics ... i've found an EXCELLENT conn chem pheno, and bought several more packs for the fridge after i found her. im running their ecsd x sssdh cross now & im extremely impressed by how much the sour is coming thru on the phenos.

JUS DON'T.....HIS PRACTICES HAVE GONE IN THE TOILET SINCE 2011...I HAVE BEEN LUCKY WITH HIS GEAR BUT MANY HAVE HAD DIFFERENT LUCK..AND HE BROKE THE HOLY GRAIL OF RULES PUTTING SOMEONES REAL NAME OUT THERE...SO NOT COOL....GLAD HE IS NOT IN MY CIRCLE ANYMORE..DJ

i got a cutting from my buddy that he called "sugar daddy" that he said came from a cali connection, but i just can't remember what strain it was.
he called it sugar daddy because she was a frosty, frosty bitch. really floral taste that stuck around on your lips for a long time after you smoked it.
it was amazing smoke, but i couldnt get the cutting that i took to stop autoflowering. really sad because i enjoyed the flavor oh so much.

I had luck like DJ. Two good phenos outa the first beans I popped. BUT one was weak and would hermie from the slightest stress regardless when in flower.
I just recently grew it out you can view my journal/album for more references.
Spending money is like voting - it practically is voting for what you like.
Id put my vote on the previous breeders based off of ethics alone - but when you tie in genetics - its a no brainer.
Sure some of it can come out legit but is it worth the fuss when you can just grab some packs of something with love in it, not greed? Some beans from Connoisseur would be epic compared to CC.

Def Top Dawg, Pisces, or CGS for your Chem/OG needs. A lot of mixed reviews on Cali Conn although some of their genetics intrigue me I just don't know if you can get consistant quality.

If u want killer strains with a lot of good phenos at a decent price, check out Ganja Rebel Seeds and Bodhi Seeds, or OG Raskal. U will never be disappointed by those 3, oh and also Karma genetics. Peace
By the way if u use the search option with "cali connection" U will get some report.

I grow outdoors at lat 38. east coast. Larry OG and Buddha Tahoe OG outperformed everything else, and I have grown it for two years in a row now. Hards dense nugs, and strong smoke.
Rumor is.. And while I trust the guy I heard from? Still a rumor.
Cc is running their flowers for BHO then harvesting seeds.

I picked up some packs of thier seeds( tahoe OG, Blackwater, Jamaica Me Crazy) at the HTCC about 3 years ago. I have yet to run any of his gear yet. The packs have been in my seed collection since then/refrigerated. I will be starting a new pheno hunt after the first of the year and was looking at starting some tahoe OG and Blackwater. Now I'm not so sure as his gear sounds kinda hit or miss. Heard on another forum that Blackwater has major hermie issues. Also not cool if he is outing people like the rumors say. That is very uncool! I have never met the guy personally so I can't comment on his personality/ego. I think I will start some CSG and Dutchgrown gear instead and put CC on the backburner
i don't know the gossip about the person, but i've try osd,larry,tahoe,headband,cali dream and some others from mix packs: zero erma or autoflowering, all greats plants, a lot of keepers,some of the most strong plants in the my place.

Chem 91: 3 undeveloped white seeds that didn't poo. Of the rest, 3 females, 2 of which Hermes on me badly. The one true female was decent.
LA Affie fem 6 pack: 3 cracked beans that were no good. Of the rest, 2 popped. One stopped at about 2 inches and did not do a thing for about 3 weeks then grew extremely slowly. The other one also very slow and behind all the rest. Pathetic yield of some pretty decent smoke.
Contacted swerve and no answer to pm's.
Started a thread on another site and he finally chimed in basically telling me it's my fault.
Dude is a major tool. I will never support that company again.

I like their booths at events. They have hit girls in shirt shirts all over the place and I was right next to them all at past events. They spend a lot of money and have great booths really. They often win best booth.
Have not spoken to them except small talk and they all seemed very nice. Bog
