I dont believe you need to germ the lot of 50 to find keepers but in a breeding project, do as many as you can...

Potency is considerably more potent than Sour D and about on par with Chem d. This line was bred with potency in mind, first, taste second.

Axe to grind, all I wonder is how some one that has never encountered something, can pick it out. Who is to say the P19 ,we were puffing, was the most sativa version of the seeds Suess picked from? Again, how could you know. This seems a fair question, not a shot. Peace GS

Speaking of P19...

Check out this monster sativa-ish F2 Blockhead male from Genehtik seeds. He's a fucking beast. :pumpkin:
The pic of the plant doesn't show it too well at that angle, but you can see the devil horn leaves pointing up on that one big fan.

The 2nd pic shows another one of those little devil leaves on a dif fan. It wanted to stick up so bad it wrapped around the stem underneath and still pointed up. It also has some sort of little nub sticking up off of it. Never seen anything like it.

Don't know how it'll breed(yet), But this male is the picture of perfect health. Possibly the most vigorous plant I've ever seen, crazy root growth, tight nodes and stout frame with massive sativa leaning leaves, and puts off a weird fuel/citrus smell.
I got big plans for this dude. First course of action is to breed him to 2 females that I know very well(pre 98 bubba & blue dream) and grow them out immediately to see what he brings to a cross.

Heres the other photo with the little twisting devil horn.
(Wouldn't let me upload more than one photo at a time).

I don't have anything to say on the BL IBL line, but I've grown Blockhead for years and know much about the genetics as a whole. I grew and bread her to F5 generations, here you see a shot of Blockhead originals in the foreground and a Blockhead F3 (called BHX)
in the background. I got lucky with the males and grew real monsters from two original packs...

Thanks for your kind words bros, but I'm no breeder. You need way better growing facilities than mine to do that properly.

Obtaining a killer plant depends on the selection of males and females. Selecting a female can be easy, but selecting a male isn't. Often it's a question of luck, and I got lucky with the BH males I selected.

Also, your plants won't look like mine unless you grow them like I do. I used to plan my grows with the intention of producing massive colas. I've kind of stopped that, because fungi becomes a serious problem when they grow that thick. Even though they look great on picture, I'm fed up caring and nurturing the plants for 10 weeks and then throwing away 5 to 10 % of the yield. But sometimes they grow fat anyway...

Hey Rosy Cheeks, any chance we could see some Blockhead seeds from your stock make it to the Bay? Your plants look the closest to the originals that i've seen in a long time. I've got the IBL but am always on the lookout for something more like the original release. Would love to try some if you ever send any in. For now I will be running a few more BH IBL beans next year along with some BH IBL x SD IBL looking for something special. Take care 1
