Day V35

The plants are vegging along more or less as expected. The wifis are stretching more than the BCK and I've got one wifi that is developing some leaf yellowing and slower growth. It's the front center plant below.

And here's a pic of the wifi I've been highlighting on a weekly basis.

I went ahead and repotted all 11 plants into their 2 gal finishing pots. I also topped 5 of the 6 wifis. Some just above the 6th node and a couple just below the 6th node. I didn't top the wifi with the yellowing and slow growth issues. I'm hoping that repotting will get it back on track.

This pic shows all six wifis (front) and 3 of the BCK (back). Two of the BCK are missing from the photo.

looking forward to seeing this one run until the end,one of my friends grew out some and did not finish them out because he said the stretch just went out of control and was not worth finishing them! but i come to this thread with an open mind and would love you to get a great result ,proving that it not all just hype !

2bags, willyweed and Yakov - thanks for the interest and input to my thread. Soon we'll see what my girls can do.

Bmac1 - Nice Plants!! Very frosty for 26 days. I hope mine turn out nearly as good. Don't apologize for the pic quality, your photography skills are terrific. Hopefully you'll grace my thread with more pics as they progress.

The wifi have responded well to the repotting and topping. Some of the plants have cloneable branches but not all. I'm going out of town next weekend for 4 nights so I'm going to let everything veg for 8 more days. Then I'll cut 2 clones of each specimen and start flowering the donors. Average plant height now is 11 inches....

Hi wantaknow, I've never hauled crude before, but I've refine a little bho and iso oil in my day. When I bought the seeds OG Rascal listed the Fire bx as average yield and the wifi as average to high yield so I chose the wifi on that basis. I'm sure I'll get one or two fire leaning phenos but no fire bx pics here, sorry dude......

Here's my homemade carbon filter. I was recharging it over the weekend so I thought I'd show it off. I've been using it for 7 years now. It's a simple design, a 5 gal pail with holes drilled in it's sides. Approximately 1 inch of activated carbon sandwiched between 2 metal screens. It holds 10 lbs of charcoal and lasts for about 6 -7 months between carbon changes drawing 400cfm continuously.

I thought I'd show off my new donut shelf for flowering. If the plants stretch too much I'll have to set the plants on the floor. Tomorrow I'll cut the clones and stake the mothers. Yee Haw!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Silver, thank you so much for visiting my humble thread. :)

The pots are 2 gallons each. If I can yield an oz per gal I'll be ecstatic but we'll see. I'm thinking of ringing the donut with trellising but if I do I'll lose the ability to move or remove the pots if necessary so I'm still mulling it over. I'll probably wait and see how the first week of stretch treats me. I'm expecting 3X stretch. The plants are 20 inches right now so they would finish about a foot from the ceiling. I've heard mention of 4X stretch which would be too tall for the room with the plants sitting on the shelf. heh,heh Sorry dude, just thinking out loud, they're 2 gal... :)

Here's the clones. Most are 4 days old, but 6 are only 1 day old. I had some issues (as usual) getting the temps set good and a few of the cuttings just bent over and didn't straighten up. I culled them and replaced them with new cuttings from their corresponding parent. I only need half so I'm quite confident I'll have a full crop for next run.
