@ THC123:

Hi bro

Yes, we do :) Some smell very herbal and purple. Very nice though. So far nothing really vanilla :)

As for the candy-ones. Yeah, they are in there! The fastest Frisan has a very sweet n sour smell. Too bad she isn't going purple so far...

But I bet you some killer phenotypes are in these plants! :woohoo:

@ GM:

Thanks man! yeah, we took a mother from each Frisian. So we can keep the 2 winning phenotypes. ;)

As for the trichome coverage, yeah it is very nice to see those Frisians pumping out resin. I hope they'll continue to do so for the next few weeks :)

I think half october for harvest and 20-25th for the latest, what do you think?

The candy ones should be the earliest

watch out for mold on the dark ones with huge buds

Don't worry, I will ;)

Yeah, probably somewhere between 10th and 20th of Octobre. I really don't concern myself with mold because we have enough ventilation and the plants are very airy. But of course we'll check every plant as best as we can. So huge, it's impossible to check everything. Kinda discouraging actually :p

Hi Smokey

Yeah, a lot of Frisians will turn purple and show color. Way more beautiful than standard green buds. But that's just me. I like purple a lot in buds :)

Tremendous grow. It's been a pleasure to see all of this here. I look forward to seeing and reading more about your harvest preparations and execution as you enter the home stretch.

The buds look great. Do you or anyone else who frequents this thread know what the major obstacle to indoor growing with this strain would be? I am not concerned about height restrictions (I actually use a technique I have not seen anywhere else). Also, a stepwise decrease in daily hours of light should handle any herm/finishing issues. (12 for 3 weeks, 11 for 3, etc.)

Anyone have experience with FD indoors?

FD will stretch too much indoors. She has a spacing of at least 15 cm between internodes in veg.

Almost all strains that have a 'purple' background do have this characteristic it seems.

Expect a 1,5-2,0m high plant when started directly from seed indoors under a 12/12 regime.

So perhaps for indoor it would be good to preveg the FD under CFL or Neon or something that is a little less strong than normal HPS lights.

I don't know if I would try it indoors, unless I had enough space to put the FD

Btw I already tested the frisian after 10 days drying with leaves on

Very powerfull effect with an almost instantanious onset. Cerebral heady and on the eyes

ALso very good soft taste as the plants only got water.
