I took FOGs advice about lighting. Just need a decent camera. Maybe Christmas time...

Anyway, fuck me, I gots sparkling under my own leaves too. I don't think I've ever looked closely at the undersides before. Having girls up on a table rather than on the floor made that difference.

Humidity between 45 and 60.

One big change I'm noticing is the amount of leafage. Trimming these is gonna be a right pain in the arse!
Is it usual to get more leaf with drips compared with hand watering?

Another big change is how much less work! That's the best bit really!

I've dropped a bit of a bollock here. I've mixed up my mils per liter with my ec. With these SS girls I upped the feed through the grow by 1 ml per 10 liter bucket per week. So, week 1 of 12/12, 11mils A&B per bucket, week 2, 12 mills and so on up to week 6 with 16 mils.

Instead I've been upping ec by 1 point per week. Usually they max at 1.3ec but now, in week 6 they maxed at 1.6.
I've corrected the rez and they're at 1.3 but the damage is done. A few days ago they were fine but there's some crispy looking leaves around the top buds, not too much but enough to piss me off!

I wont bore you with crap pics now, you'll see of it in the next update.

I don't know what the fuck happened here with all this birthday crap around my pictures but it just about sums up the photographic aspects of this grow. I didn't even know my camera does this stuff. Now I can't stop it from doing it.

Anyway, these are from a couple of days ago, a few days into week 7. The pictures showing damage from the over feeding are even worse than these. I'll just say that damage was minimal - a few crispy leaves, that's all.
Overall, the girls are looking fine, fattened nicely and plenty of the sparkly stuff.

I've been lowering ec since the end of week 6 by slinging some buckets of plain, ph ed water into the rez each day. Today is day 5 of week 7 and they're at 0.9 with ph of 6.1. I'll continue these top ups until day 49 when I'll fill the rez with plain un ph ed water for the final 7 day flush. My plan then is to up the run off by increasing duration of each watering for a day or two then back off for the final five days. Chop should be day 56, 10 days from now.

Thankyou Guys, while I can't bring much enlightenment in the cultivation of our beautiful plant, I'm glad to have brought a little light relief.

This camera is doing my head in. Somewhere there's gonna be an off button for all this balloon crap but I can't find it. I've tried the traditional method of banging it sharply on the table but still no good. I'll keep trying so I can at least end this thread with some sort of 'done' pictures.

This new set up has been interesting to run and I've had many thoughts about it. I'll save them for now until the job's finished.

Three days into the final flush and we got the borg. Not wide spread but there alright. I've been battling it for over a year, think it's gone and the creepy fucker comes back.

No pics. Chop tomorrow. Meantime everything in the veg room will be wacked with Plant Vitality+ every two days.

Harry try to use more than one product they will become immune to it try switching at each treatment

neem oil works wonders
harker mectin spot on treatment 0.5-1ml per litre

Looking good Harry. I had mites bad, so floramite, harker mectin and then natural predators got rid of them for well over a year.
