Storing BHO - parchment paper in the fridge/freezer?

Just wondering what the best way is to store BHO whilst minimizing wastage. I was thinking wraps of parchment paper (after looking around on this sub-forum) and single doses, but does the BHO not tend to stick to the paper?

I had considered glass vials, but it seems to me that having to heat it to get it out would be wasteful?

What do you do?

PS - looking around I've seen a few different types of parchment paper including silicone and "grease proof" for cooking/baking. Which type should I get?

They sell concentrate containers that look like a grider.

I have rolled mine into 1-2g logs(takes a bit of heat and pressure) before, then roll in parchment paper like a tootsie roll and put in glass container...Looks like candies.

or flatten into square, and fold up in parchment paper...but fold it up in the parchment loose...don't squish :)

no squish...very little stick

I keep mine in silicone concentrate jars in ziplock bags in the freezer. I've kept buds good for years in the freezer, so it should work with concentrates too. Just let them warm up to room temperature before you open the jars. Water will condense on cold BHO if you expose it to air.

I would either keep them in miron glass, as this is glass that is uv proof, so it prevents your bho from degrading, or inside a silicone concentrate jar, oil slick style, if your concentrates tend to get stuck to your storage container/parchment paper. I am not sure if freezing it is best, but I have been satisfied with both freezer, fridge and dark cool cabinet. Would be great if someone has actual statistics on what is best, now that there is an industry emerging.
All the best

Has anyone seen BHO lose potency over time at room temperature? I've seen it happen with buds and trim, but I haven't tried storing concentrates for years at a time. I'm in the process of making a long term personal supply. I'm just guessing the freezer is the best place based on my experience with bud.

Oil is a mess anyway u do it there's gonna be loss turn it into shatter or wax is ur best option.. Instead of loosin it to being messy u may loose a bit of weight but u will save so much in the long run and improve the quality.... Now parchment paper works fine doesn't stick when frozen them containers blast was talkin bout are great to but if u ain't dropping it off a a dispensers paper is hella easier... I've kept oil for months not yrs at a time at room temp in a cabinet and didn't notice it loose anything I don't know how it could be saved for yrs ...hopefully someone can answer that cuz I don't know Neone with years old oil... Smoke that shit up and make more....

Thank you all for the helpful replies/ideas!

I think I'm leaning further towards the parchment for storage. Although I was aware of the problem with taking things that are cold and moving them to a warmer area, I'd forgotten to take into account the problem of condensation. So after folding up the doses of BHO in parchment, I'll put them into little zip-locks (to address the condensation problem), and then into a glass jar which I'll keep in the freezer.

The one thing I'm still not 100% sure on is what type of parchment? I assume it's just the "plane paper" type I'm after and not the other types made for the oven that I have come across when searching?

Regarding the UV - I don't think this would be a significant problem as most fridges/freezers are UV shielded as far as I'm aware :)

Thanks once again for all the replies, and please keep them coming, as there seems to be plenty of good ideas out there.
