hey i noticed you us the chips in your coco I have sense ordered some. how do you mix yours. I would rather use chips then per-lite or hydroton.

I just started using straight coco chips from roots organics. they seem to work pretty well so far on their own, absorbant but sheds water better than the fine ground coir.

Make sure those are washed good I had some sun leaves brand and was salty as hell, I think your probably good with roots organic.

yeah I used sunleaves for a long time, a lot of work to clean for sure. the roots is a whole other deal, I soaked the block to break it down then got ready to flush it and noticed zero foam from the salt you see in the sunleaves. there was maybe a couple tbsp. of dirt in the bottom but overall it was clean as could be. I used just like that and haven't had any problems from it

right now the only plants I have in them are in veg but I only water those 1x a day if that

Ok cool. I just picked some up. Ya the first round of coco that I ever bought they had a few of those so I took them, so I would have enough to fill all my buckets. So I would say I was at about a 60/40 mix and I was watering 5 gallons once a day by the end of flower and they probably could have taken more. Never really ventured back to using chips. And seeing yours I was like hey I liked them before why am I not using them in my mix.

a while back I used to mix 1 of the big blocks of chips to 2 small bricks of fine and it worked well but i'm liking the straight chips better. plus the roots organic brand is clean as a whistle right off the block. I wish you luck twisted

the gsog is the star of the show right now, swelling up pretty dense and crusted with trichs. smells like a grape cotton candy or something the last few days. I don't really care for the sweet or fruity or candy flavors but this one is speaking to me lol

you need Ultra Sonya in the stable.......i have 2 phenos that edge out that MB pheno and both US have their distinct smell/flavor and they are typical frosty ass girls you can expect w/any GrindHouse gear.

yes I do, that #3 US is the best wake & bake smoke I've ever had to date, very happy, peaceful effect and pretty damn tasty too

The Gsog I popped about a year ago and ran three phenos for a while. I hav sense dropped down to this one. Dub the Grape syrup cut.

The chem4 and Ecsd were both given to me localy and thats what it was called. I have sent them out to a few experts to grow and they have come back with they are crosses but noone knows with what. But with the ECSD the deisel is def dom in her. And the Chem the deisel is dom with her too. So a good friend of mine dubed them.
Sour Twist for the ECSD and then Twisted Fuel for the Chem 4.
Def. life long keepers.
