pappy, what does the cal/mag look like? any chunks? and heat and light will do more harm than the fridge, unless its actually freezing...
are you giving the nutes a good shake? with the cal/mag its important to make sure it stays well shaken....
ding ding ding folks I think we have a winner. My whole tent is showing the first signs of mg def and I checked my ph meter and it is spot on. Was thinking I may need to bump up the dose of ca mg but now I think I see the problem. The fucking heat got my ca mg cause my dumb ass left it out :wallbash:. Just noticed the discoloring starting to night and not time for feeding yet so shouldn't be a problem to get a handle on
:yoinks: KILL IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is a huge arsed caterpillar that will turn into a stunning butterfly :D
well maybe just a relocation program :D

I've only got a few shitty pics of a couple grows of her . but i'll tell ya what ..... GG & her a very similar in growths habbits & bud sizing .
she'll tripple in size from veg & lay all over the net once the buds start to fill in . big floppy bitch like GG , just not quite as frosty . good amount of stank to her too like GG .

GG showed a Mag def on me too even using calmag .... i had to add epsom to my feeds after a foliar of it first .

I haven't done anything about it yet. Except just the usual. I have made the mistake of prematurely treating before.

I don't think ive been overwatering lately. The reason they look droppy in the pics, is because i had just dumped some compost tea on them, and then misted them down.

Another reason i think its calmag is that i have something going on with the plants in flower. It looks totally different then the plants in veg. But they both look like cal or mag problems. The ones in flower are starting to get some dehydrated rust spots, right on the seration tips. I didn't get pics of the flower ones yet. but i will.

I tossed my bottle and will get another tomorrow, just to be safe.
If that doesn't improve the problem, i'm lost.

sometimes what will happen with compost teas is the bacteria will sequester away a lot of the nutes and as well i noticed after a tea feeding they didnt use as much water over the next few days..if those plants can be up potted thats the first thing i would do,if they are in their final pots try a 1/4 strength nute flush and follow that with a foliar of epsom salts until they green back up...

Are foliar feeds lights out only or can you feed thru leaves with lights on?
I was taught that you spray right before the night cycle so the lights don't burn any water droplets on the leaves . or put vegging plants into 6 hrs of darkness right after spraying .

i prefer to just shut the lights off during the lit cycle, spray the plants, let them dry off, then turn the lights back on.

I don;t really foliar feed much. I do like to mist the leaves off every 2-3 weeks to keep transpiration optimal. And i guess you guys are right. It does seem smarter to do with lights off. I always do blow most of the water off with a fan though. I will definitely be doing the epsom spray.

but won't epsom salt kill the microlife? I thought salt was bad in organics. I think i worry to much about those little critters.

one more. a chocolope

and heres what they looked like 2 weeks ago. One day after i took them out of the aero cloner, and put them in dirt.

Unc- i can definitely up pot them. they are in one gallon grow bags. so ill put them in 3 gals smarts soon. Im making a lot of changes over the next month or so. Im coming out of the closet so to speak, and opening up a spare bedroom. Im starting a thread in the next couple days to get help with my grow room design. Im getting another light for bloom and reducing my veg light from 400 watts, to 250. That way, i can add a 600 watt light to bloom, without using anymore energy. At first, i thought it would be more energy, but after i thought about it; since the veg is on for 18 hours, and bloom only 12. I think it will actually be less energy. But my brain hurts when i think about it.

if i spray lights on a simple surfactorant will prevent light burn from pooling... and usually a good bug product like azamax that has a surfactorant is what ill use as a mixer with whatever nutrient im trying to foliar... usually Silicate ...

i try not to foliar much however as i dont want my girls to get to lazy on me;)

Pappy don't sweet posting about problems here. I'm not unc but I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say we are here to help. We all have issues from time to time and usually can get our answer with out putting up with the bull shit in other threads.
Dan I think it's my bottle. Not just the GG. It's all 3 strains, and its just starting. They are still in veg and no where near ready to up pot. I gave them a good ph'ed tap water douching last night and picking up a fresh bottle of camag today.

Good ideas all. My lights go off at 6 am so needless to say I'm not awake to foilar feed at that time.

I never do foilar feed but been thinking of hitting them with boost foilar style.

Okay pic time. I got roots with the aero but it took 21 days lol.

When I went to check on them I saw this. Do you see it too?

I have heard something about this. And my style of growing mixes using living soil and compost teas, with using liquid nutes. Im thinkin maybe its time to get off the fence and commit to one or the other. So, im thinking of doing away with the teas, sticking with the G.O., and start using just straight ss4 advanced. I dont think my recent problems are necessarily being caused by my mixed styles, but i think it might be doing more harm than good?
Unc- do you add anything at all to the ss4 advanced? Perilite, worm poo? anything? The "mix" these troubled plants are in, is mostly ss4 advanced, with a little perlite, worm castings, happy frog, and some local organic amish soil mix called "Frey's" (sp?). I mainly added those things cause i had it leftover. Like i said, from now on, im thinking straight ss4 advanced.

Third Looking good bro! After you get it down, it super easy. And i was hopin you'd get that one to work. Those colors are so nice;), it be a shame to pitch it. If it ever leaks on u though. I found another tote from Lowes that defininetly will not leak. It called a Rubbermaid Action Packer. Im guessing there is only one model with that name. (Not many companies are as dumb as Sunshine #4)

In my experience with the go line using in teas calmag def gets shorted it seems... I'd have toagree w unc... I especially see mag def bad when it's real noticeable in late veg w upward curl...
To aide I've always topdressed Epsom from the dollar store a handful at a time till I see fix..

Good to hear feedback from others on the line... Makes for a much easier read:)
Cheers fellas!

So when I awoke today my first thought was, did I plug in the pump on my cloner?

Nope. 3rd time now I've forgot to plug it back in. It's like that movie groundhog day I swear.

Clones look good though.
