Yes, the stretch is finished. But I do plan on pulling some of the taller branches down an inch or two. I'll be the first to admit that this isn't the most aesthetically-pleasing grow I've ever done. But it certainly seems to be effective, for just 125w.

looking kickass, good use of the space that's for sure.
looks a helluva lot better this round than last, that shows that you are things right; moving forward.

Thanks dude.

I would like to eventually use this chamber for seed-making, and I think it will be perfect for scenarios where aesthetics are not all that important. :tiphat:

Looks great!

Looking forward to reading thru and following your progress on this next run. Soil vs. Hydro

Do you expect bigger yields with perhaps a bit less flavor?

Getting ready to start my first 300cfl micro!

Well it's hard to accurately answer that since I didn't complete a previous grow in here with similar conditions, but soil. I know what you are asking, though, and I can honestly say that I don't believe yield changes too much from soil to hydro. Hydro allows plants to grow faster, for sure, but I don't necessarily think that, as a rule of thumb, hydro equals bigger yield than soil.

That being said, I have been growing in soil, organically and non organically, alongside my hydro gardens for many years now. This is for my cannabis gardens and my food gardens. And I must say, I've never experienced my hydro plants to ever taste or smell any differently then they do when I grow them in organics.

I'm not sure how much of that hydro vs. organic folklore is actually true, to be honest. Maybe that's because I operate under the less is more approach. I never nuke my hydro gardens with high doses of bloom boosters or anything like that.

I honestly don't think anyone would be able to tell that my buds are hydro if I didn't tell them. :)

I'm sorry to say, everyone, that this grow is being sacrificed to the compost gods.

I hope it at least inspired someone out there and offered some ideas. I was primarily concerned with seeing what I could do with such low wattage, and that was demonstrated to me, actually, the first time around, when I finished up the 2 lemon skunk phenos. I have also decided that this setup really would work best by doing it mini-donut style. I may get around to doing that again someday. But for now, I just have too much going on, and this is my least-productive garden, so it has to step aside.

This will probably soon become a mother cabinet. I like the idea of keeping my mothers in suspended animation around a low wattage vertical bulb. Seems like exactly what I need, since I have to trim them back too often under the T5 tubes.

Thank you all for hanging out with me for this experiment! It was fun. My other just-for-fun grow is still in action, and I don't foresee tearing that down for any reason at the moment. So please, feel free to follow me there, or you can come hang out with me in my bigger grows.

Peace to everyone.

hush,

Regrettable, but if you are not enjoying the grow -- you just aren't.

Nevertheless, thanks for sharing it with us up to this point.

Thanks brother. I'm so sad to see this go, but it's been hard to justify doing the maintenance. My wife gave me an ultimatum that basically said "FIND more time for me."

yikes.

Yeah, so I had to free up some projects. That was the only garden that I gave up, but there were other hobbies and projects not related to gardening or weed that I had to give up too. It sucks. But I love my wife, and she didn't need to twist my arm.

I had too many things going. I have a real problem with that, it's my ADHD and aspy's acting up, causing me to go manic sometimes. lol
