Great answer Madjag

it was a general question to all my neighbors

ive fully practiced inner and lower removal removal during my grows with great results = why I do it, for exactly your reasons, directed energy. my crops are really easy to take down and can be fullly harvested easily
not so good for my concentrate projects, but im one of few that does this, around me, so theres plenty of play vegitation

I think ill do some directed leafing the next few days. I figure im 3-4 weeks out soo its a good time for the last moon burst here

Thanks

My favorite experiment so far

My favorite experiment so far

Cootz base mix, some extra srp, enough Ca to bring the base cation saturation up to 70%. Lots and lots of foliar Ca, B, Mg, P and micros. Weekly fertigations with sprout teas for enzymes...alfalfa through stretch and barley since then. And weekly fertigations of Ferti Nitro...no set amount, just go by what feels right.

A fungal network that is going through at least an inch a week of straw. Maybe 1/2 dozen yellow leaves pulled off all yr.

No ipm period...not even organic.

Im not saying everything in biodynamics is on the money but a lot of it is and has been around long before it was labeled such. I dont always need to see the science behind something if it feels right. As long as I see it work myself, even if I cant explain it, so be it. Im ok with knowing that we dont know everything and I can still accept things Ive experienced. If you were to tell me this stuff over the internet or at a bar over a beer Id laugh and say you more full of it than that horn... lol, FTR I don't advocate or know anything about the manure horn.

As for the moon,… lunar cycles have influence on many things. If you can agree that the moon governs the tides of the ocean, you can understand its influence over water on earth. If it can move a massive body of water…and plants and animals are made of mostly water … pushing and pulling of the life force of all living things, water. I could go into great detail but I will save my fingers the labor. I know the majority of folks will never believe even a little bit of this stuff. Mostly they consist of things that you cannot touch, or show with a math equation. So to many people it simply does not exist. Thats fine, Im not here to argue but rather let others who stumble upon this ‘foolish nonsense’ know there are some of us who truly know its more than fairy tales and leprechauns. To each their own..

Planted July 7th @ 18”… A late start is better than not at all… still bigger than last years and planted 3 weeks later..2 yards each in mounds 10' spacing, the row cover had to be raised as we were not expecting them to get so big with such a late start. The cover is 11' tall and will obviously need to be raised one more time before its all done. .watering with gravity fed drip tubes amended soil and water per testing suggestions. Above the 45th parallel and in the mushroom loving coastal region of the PNW rainforests...
Same soil mix as last year only with added crustacean meal and medium level foliar feeding. Ca 25, PPD, Kelp extract, Aloe, Coconut h20, fulvic, and compost teas...

PS.

Is it just me or is the forum acting up? If I refresh the page it takes me to somewhere around page 350. I cant pull up the user menu, and the insert image button isnt functioning properly.. and a host of other issues...whats up with that?

Father, thank you for resorting to the exact sort of spiritual trench that I expected. You've managed to change the phenomenon of gravity and tides into some esoteric influence upon all of us that humams just can't comprehend. It's the moon, it's really really big, and it exerts a gravitational pull upon the oceans because they're really really big and global. Notice your bowl of milk doesn't have its own tides. I'm sorry, I'm dragging things off topic, but this is what I meant. Yall shroud the world in mysteries basic science solves and claim humanity doesn't understand all the mystic energy around them.

First off Seahawk is a douche! Spent all that money on a degree and didn't say shit that was useful thanks douche bag glad you went to school. Also these people need to stop hating on "the growers for profit" because they are the pioneers with enough balls to take the risk of providing more erb for all to enjoy whether that's their intention or not. We as humans have the right to cannabis and I congratulate all those who are willing to take that risk and provide it for our world. GROW AS MUCH WEED AS YOU CAN PEOPLE! The world deserves it!

Madjag- nice break down of all the methods really puts things in perspective.

There are most definetly things that we don't know out there and there always will be, as fatherearth and I believe Plato said we don't know. Yes we have progressed in science immensely but it's not to long ago they were tarring out frontal lobes of people believing it to be the new cure all in the name of science. Can anyone explain what is Bioelectricity? Yet there still remain things that science can't explain at least at the moment because we are about due for another breakthrough esp in Physics to keep us moving forward. I mean we're still using radiation to fight cancer these days even though other less intrusive methods have been proven to work. Stupid humans or should I say greedy humans! Either way question EVERYTHING!
Grow on growers and if I haven't said it thank you to all who contribute to this site it's not Harvard but hey you don't need harvard to teach one to read. In a time and age where information is become free it's only a matter of time before everyone is learning this way and one day education will be free as it should be! Hopefully!

Carl ohs,

The moon is not shrouded in mystery, subjects like crystal, vortex, and intentional energies is what Im getting at. These things are largely unexplained and to the conventional mind are mostly hippie fantasy. The farmers almanac has been giving advice based on moon cycles as well as weather based on sun spot activity for a long time. Its not a mystery, but for some reason, lunar planting and gardening is hard for you to grasp? Im not here to convince you it works, thats not my thing. You keep doing what do, and Ill keep planting with moon cycles and waiting for the tides to change in my bowl of milk. Thanks for your opinion, Im going to leave it at that. If you want to further this conversation lets take it to PM and keep this thread clear of hogwash and moon jibber.

Here have some more mysterious hippie stuff to try and shoot down.

Sir D,

Thanks for the reminder of the appreciation we should have for the folks who bravely ride the bleeding edge of legality to help make it acceptable. 20 years ago, I would have never thought cannabis would be legal in my lifetime. Two months ago, I predicted that recreational use would be legal in Oregon in 2016. This next March, dispensaries will be legal. I just read in the paper today that the Oregon legislators are going to write their own version of recreational legalization for next year, to preempt a citizen's group from passing their own version. Things are moving very quickly, and now is the time to speak out and push to the perfect conclusion, which is complete decriminalization and deregulation.

:dance013:

The fight should continue to prevent corporate interests from gaining control. I feel I should be able to grow as much as I want of any strain that I want, and without pesticides, fungicides, and excess fertilizers.

Happy Growing,

ThaiBliss

It's a safe bet that every one of us has some surefire idea that we think gives us a leg up and over our fellow growers.

The cool thing about this thread is that everyone is willing to share that idea with everyone else. In most other endevors that would be called "propriatory" and that info would not be shared. It would be closely held.

Some of the idea presented here, I think are off the wall. But, your not gonna hear me commenting on them. Those ideas are usually unprovable....one way or another. If they work for the poster, more power to 'em. Thank You for sharing.

Nuff of that Kumbya shit.

Its not about a leg up, I will happily share info with anyone who wants to know. I try and avoid such conversations at least in public that are 'off the wall'. Unprovable by way of how it works sure, demonstrating it does work is easy.

Pono....Ya may want to add another foot or three to that fence...it ain't hiding much. :woohoo:

Yes, about a week back we took a pounding. When the trades power down ....the rain does fall. Our place had a bit over a half inch... but it all came down over a fifteen minute period.

Two cloudy days. Only the fifteen minute shower. Then the trades came back.

Parts of the rest of the state were hit alot harder. But as you know about summer rain here, it was hit and miss.

Afterwards I expected the worse, and was happily surprised that everything came through just fine. Luckily it's early and the flowers aren't fat. Comming up looks to be a long dry strech.

So it appears at be all good.

GROW AS MUCH WEED AS YOU CAN PEOPLE! The world deserves it!

Yes

Can anyone explain what is Bioelectricity?

Cells generate potentials across the cell membrane by actively pumping ions across. Living things have to expend energy to make this happen. This probably also has something to do with our brains using a large portion of our calories.

A similar thing happens with lightning in clouds where the upper part of the cloud has a positive charge and the lower part a negative. The difference is also found in the bottom of a cloud and the ground if thats where the lightning travels.

Either way question EVERYTHING!

Yes

Wish I had Cali weather. Things are getting mucky in my neck of the woods.

I don't care what methods you use if your plants are large and healthy, and I don't care how fanatical or irrational you are.

And I don't care how nice your rap is. If you don't grow large and healthy plants, it doesn't matter.

Ten million times I prefer people saying "here's my result and here's how I got it" to folks pontificating about what would, could, and should work best.

Anyone got pudding? Let's see it!

AMEN!!
All of this pontificating, bravado, name calling and insistant dick comparing really degrades this site. More respect is given to those who post what works for them and do not try to call BS on other growers on things that don't make sence for themselves. Geezz it sounds like a bunch of spoiled brats on here sometimes......
