Hey guru! Nice to see you still around. I vegged since July under a 90W UFO avoiding the summer heat. I flip it under my remote ballasted 150 in a week or two running at night as it still get scorching here in the southland. Thanks so much for everything, you have always been a GREAT in my eyes.

hopefully this round will be better all over.

its currently >5inches from tops with a temp average of 76-78, highs at 82-83 (for maybe an hour a day tops) and lows in the low 70's

Sorry to say bud, i think you will finish with 10-12 grams of very frosty nugs.

Can you tell us a bit about your setup/soil/strain/pH/ppm?

Soil is black gold organic. Ph is stable from my tap, use an in line filter to clean contaminates.
Strain is bagseed from "northern kush"
Came from some seedy shit. First round was seedles and 59times better than where it came from

Hey I was Checking it out Looks like alot of things could have went wrong here but i might have a few tips for starting up your first grows.

First thing Would be put the scissors away chop chop can be bad bad.

Second thing is drill a ton of holes in the bottom of that bucket cause drainage is a good thing.

dont water it every day unless your soil is bone dry everyday.

and let your plants grow to a decent size before you flower them for larger yields.

if you want to grow a bush i would reccomend topping the plant maybe once around the Third to fourth node and then slowly tieing it down and then let the inner nodes grow.

Other then that i would say the biggest problem i see is over watering and to much cutting. hope that helps

Yeah, i would totally veg longer, doing exactly what Darkvade said will help A LOT!

Doesn't look/sound like you have a lot of height, but if you do, i would move the lamp up. Do you have more plants than just this one under the 150w?

You deff have a frosty strain, lets just get the yield up :)
Cheers,
BeL

the lamp has lots of space. Is it just too close?
let em stretch next time?
I'll veg longer for sure.
yeah the strain really frosts out the last week or so. Great for trim goodies. Luckily haven't had seeds happen yet, got 4clones gettn big.
just this girl, next time was going to use a multi gallon bin and 2 deff. Females under just the one 150. Would that help.

Oh, also not sure if this is relevant, but it has no smell. Maybe kinda a hay smell, but that's it, and the taste is hay.
I don't care about this as its super stealthy, but is this an indication of any problems?
It doesn't smell unless you rub it, than orange.
Also as far as potency, nothing has made me as paranoid as this shit, and I'm a hardcore career smoker. I guess the paranoia comes with higher THC though. Now if I can just get it going enough that I can ditch the street weed, we will be golden.

Btw everyone get a magic flight launch box.

And for a scope, I use supereyes from amazon. Shit pictures, but the actual view is nice, and def. 200x
I paid 25 bucks

I find that the smells come from the total ripeness of the plant as you are in week five its probley not totaly ripe yet premature weed or weed that has been dried fast normaly have that home grown stench and taste wait for the hairs to shrink down behind the caylx looking like tear drops and the hairs to change to orange on the plant and then slowly dry it out for 5 days then it might taste a little better depnding on what strain you got man . good luck

naw round 1 was the same, up until the last nug was gone. I slow dried most, but even the slow dried (hung upsidown low airflow dry air) had no smell/the hay smell.
it doesn't bother me, because it literally got me more paranoid than anything else, mostly because of how high we got off so little.
I guess my one saving grace here is the plant is a strong female, and hasn't Hermed out from the stress I've put her through.
my other plus is the strain is quite frosty. Not as iced as some on here, but for no smell outdoor grown bagseed turned indoor project I ain't gonna complain.

I will veg longer. I will also add some 40w CFL and a few 20w (mixed spectrum) from the veg box to the flower box.

would a bigger container w/2clones be ok to do?
like a big Rubbermaid turned pot....pot... Lol?

also what mites would you reccomend. Keeping in mind I'm going as close to no flush organic as possible (I still flush, with molasses, but I like that if I didn't my plant wouldn't have harmful chems in it.

I was Thinking various guanos mixed with water and mollases, but only do the guano every third watering. Does that sound right?

thanks again guys
my progress may be slow and nooblike, but all the stiff I read here I try to apply to my situation.

last question.
no grow box, just light hanging from celing, no walls other than those of the room itself. Will this kill my yield?

Is that room completely dark for 12 hours?
Like you can't see your own hand.
Plants do strange things with light leaks... They don't ripen, they look stressed etc...

windows blacked out, all light leaks gone. I can't see shit in there. So yeah 12full hours of sexy darkness.

well it is possible to get mold if them larger buds get real warm and then the cold air comes in for the dark period but right now you seem to be in no danger of that.put the light high or low your still gonna harvest an 8th this round.just keep it simple start a new plant keep the light 6 inches from the top dont cut it and just sit back watch it grow.
