What is this data logger, Dank? Does it run with your pc? Can it log everything ie humidity, ec, ph ect?

Its a usb device that plugs into pc measures humidity, temps and relative humidity at programmable times like every second or 10 etc. Search speedemons posts you will find links and info.

I'll do that, mate.:thank you:

I've been going back through this thread and can't get my head around how this recirculating system works. Could you explain it a lil for me?

Here is a very basic paint drawing of how the recirc works mate:

The NFT tank is attached to a header tank via 2 x 50mm pipes and uniseals, the water is then pumped from the far ends of the NFT tank back to the header tank at 6000lph creating D.O in the header then the water flows through the pipes over the roots in the tray. I hope this clears it up a bit? If not chuck me a pm :)

great diagram mate explains the system well

co2 didn't last long did it

maybe a burner is needed instead mate

or double check with a co2 test kit just to make sure progrow do em and the burners but they are expensive bits of kit the burners but more economical

Cheers mate, that thing on the filter is a airforce 2 silenced fan which is basically a fan in a silencer :) expensive but worth it as shifts a lot of air. :ying::tiphat:

The LED driver came today and I replaced it, they are now all working 100% :) I am still waiting on roots from the 6 to go under it though but I am happy they are all working again. I did try the bridging thing but all the LEDs where working when bridged so it was the driver for my problem, they did offer to send me a load of spare 5w bulbs from China though.

How many of those led you think equals 1000 hps? What's there actual foot print coverage?

Hey Bluehaze, thanks for stopping by :tiphat: I would say that 2 of these lights equals 1000 hps but with hps more of the lumens are wasted but with LEDs they are tailored to meet the right spectrum's so more of the LED light is absorbed by the plant. I am new to LED so this is my first time using them so I am just repeating what I have read.

As for the coverage of the lights then heres what the manufactures say:

Description :
High Output 5W LEDs
Perfect for vegetative and flowering cycles
Superior yield and higher quality flowers
Large heat sinks, high efficiency
Save power on electrical and cooling
Specification :
High Output 5W LEDs
LED Wattage: 1200W
Actual power consumption: 720W
Coverage area: 28.69ft²
Size: 18.11'' x 18.11'' x 3.54'' (460x460x90mm)
Weight: 35.27lb (16kg Gross Weight)
Number of LEDs: 240
Lumen: 32400lumen
Lifespan: 50,000-100,000hours
Voltage: AC 85V~265V
Work Frequency: 50~60 Hz
Operating Temperature Range: -20~40°C
Spectrum of Light - 430~440nm, 450~475nm 620~630nm, 650~670nm, and white, Real IR spectrum: 730nm

aren't we due some pics?

Lol thanks for the reminder mate. I was just going to wait now until they where bigger but here are some pics of day 18 veg from freshly rooted cutting. The roots are starting to hang out of a lot of the net pots now but due to over feed problem I have had to reduce the e.c to 1.3 as leaves where showing toxic build up at 1.7 e.c which Killer Queen loved at this age. These American ladies hate their nutes lol and KQ loved them, its all a learning curve. Have also lowered the lights slightly. I am finding vegging is slower with LED so far in comparison to MH, but due to a few early nute problems using Plant Magic I am sure that did not help.
