I dont know if this would be a "hardener", but I've heard good things about House & Garden's Shooting Powder.

if you run your lights on temp 5 degrees colder than your lights off temp. rock hard nugs.

also, use mh for the first 2-3 weeks in flower than finish with hps for the rest.

your welcome.

no its not.. the shooting powder u use around 3 weeks before harvest and it starts a 2nd flowering wave on your plants to incease your plants over all yield

good genetics, that will give you heavy resin crusted buds more than anything else... that, combined with an optimal environment and nutrition for those genetics, will outperform any special product any day

The answer is simple, You don't need a "flower hardener"!

I know that's not what cha wanna hear bro, but its the truth

Their $$$ down the drain, that$$$ could go to optimizing your environment or investing in good solid genetics (like other stated)

Youll catch on eventually, we've all been there

yes I know the environment has a big role on the plant and genetics.. but im not asking about genetics or environment Im asking about brands of bud hardeners and tric production boosters.. I want to try some of these out to see if it will make any difference..... I want to try to do side by side compirson of one plant with boosters and one with out..

don't worry this will be my last post here, but we are answering your question...

you wouldn't be asking us what product to spend your money on in order to make your buds harder and frostier if you were satisfied with the level of dense frostiness you are currently getting from your garden, RIGHT?

I mean why spend extra money on something when you are already growing the densest frostiest bud around? so OBVIOUSLY your garden is leaving you with something to be desired...

what we are telling you IS... there are three factors to getting dense frosty bud
1. quality of genetics
2. proper environment for said genetics
3. proper nutrition for said genetics...
if all three of these factors were met, you'd have some of the densest frostiest bud possible and wouldn't be asking anyone online for their opinion, but, if any one of these three are not present in the grow, no matter how much money you spend on ANY specialty fertilizer/hormone, your bud will not be considered "top shelf", even with the use of best "flower hardener" on the market...

have fun learning how to grow :D

Peace... :tiphat:

you could not do a side by side of the pgr's and not in the same building/area, not fair anyways they spread good and far. They are not good for the environment or you or your kids, or your kids friends and their neighbors...

I think Paclobutrazol is the ingredient used in the products you're looking for.
It can be ordered online easily enough. Used in very low amounts, it will quickly stop vertical growth and most plants continue to fill out their buds but at the cost of trich density & terpenes. In spite of a 2 week flush buds burned poorly & tasted like burned rubber.
Strains were Sensi Star, White Widow, Orgnkid's OG Kush, Sour Diesel, Romulan.
Luckily, I didn't use it (Superbud & Phosphoload) on all plants. :nono:

I once used bloom boosters etc.

I would never put that shit in my soil today. Can't fix the past

Just read the msds sheets for the products, look up the ingredients and make your own mind up! Doing this was the tipping point for me even though I knew about organically for much longer
