What do you guys use to get the end product out of the collection pot?
Hey, what's up rather than start a whole new thread I thought I'd just ask here... Does anyone know where I can get replacement gaskets for my closed system? I have a Bhogart but I'm pretty sure it uses the same gaskets as the terpinator just different sizes. I'm looking for a over the counter solution.... I was thinking autoparts store, washer/drier store... something along those lines...Anyone? Thanks!
Sneaky,
Now with that sweet setup all you need is a good camera, lol
Respectfully,
FE

Bhogart isn't responding to texts/phone calls right now.. got me kind of miffed. I can't do any processing until I get this new gasket. Hopefully glacier tanks ships fast. Thanks, HM
your right, i think it was someone in avanish miles underground bunker thread that said it best, "$100,000 setup, $2 camera" i have potatos with as much resolution as my phone.
Anyone have any recommendations for a mid range, easy to use camera? i was looking at this one, only thing i dont like is its got gps tagging http://imaging.nikon.com/lineup/coolpix/s/s9500/
like hashman said, glacier or amazon, although some places may have similar sized gaskets the odds that theyll have viton or n-buna arent very likely. brewers hardware is a great place to get reasonably priced gaskets. order a few extras so you always have the machine operable and replace the spares as needed. just make sure its the same kind of gasket, terpenators use n-buna or viton sanitary triclamp gaskets.
FE, Durden- are you guys using the Wyatt soup pot to keep your collection chamber from icing up? Or are you just keeping it in a bucket of tap water? No bath at all? What is it?
Hey GW i just read that post on your site on how to get rid of the mystery oil. Thanks!!
When you said a case how many cans is that?
Green dot, I got some coming up for you....
Sneaky, yea coolpix cameras are good. Cheaper than an SLR and wont be too pissed if it gets BHO all over it. Im using an old 16 megapixel one thats covered in oil, lol. Yea that was Avinash with the huge warehouse and a shitty throw away phone camera, lol.
I do have the wyott on hand. if Im doing a cold run I dont turn it on and just use it with cold water...
Durden makes a good point about the clouding. Although its not hard to clear it up if it does cloud, if you are doing a high volume production and dont want to slow down, I can see pouring butane, if you can do it safely.
The wyott is such a pain to control temp wise even when hooked up to a thermostat. I just spent too much time adjusting it depending on what part of the process I'm in.
Unfortunately in cali you can be prosecuted to the same degree as a meth cooker :-\
