What does Jock smell like? Is it an overpowering smell like some skunks, piney or floral. I know it's hard to describe smells, I really want to know if it would be easy to disguise with some other scent.

I'll enjoy a good lung full this eve and let you know what I think. It's strong inside the flower room, but with the filters I can't smell anything outside.

The main cola at the top. Not as big and dense as I'd hoped, but it's all part of the learning curve

Massive foxtailing is see. What were room temps? That is one smokable looking bud. Looks like it can go another week or so too.

Temps were between 21c and topped out on hotter days at 29c. I'm in the UK and temps are all over the place. It's been a bit cooler the last few nights with lights on. I checked it with my loupe yesterday and it's mainly cloudy with few clear and few amber trichs so I'm booking a day off work this week the butcher it

Nothing to report really. It's basically ready to come down, which should happen tomorrow.

My method of "testing" is to take one hit, hold it, exhale. Then wait until I am not stoned anymore. Length of stone and strength are then contemplated.Ha!

I grew JH in an operating refrigerator a few years ago and put up a u tube video that old pink commented was the coolest vid he had seen. Unlike Jack Herer, Jock Horror purples up in cooler temps, which it did in the fridge. One of the nice aspects of the strain (besides a fat yield) was that after curing it had a cherry cough syrup taste!

Well it is suitably dry to take the buds off the stems and jar it up. Disappointed to say I only managed 12oz off this

I will try it personally this weekend. In the mean time it's all jarred up for curing.

Temps were high during all of this grow. I didn't want the expense of running a/c, but temps did stay between 20c and 29c (light off/lights on).
I'm mainly disappointed with the yield because I've run a few plants in a 1m2 tent under a 600W and pulled more than this (Pineapple Express and PPP). Perhaps I should have vegged longer, but I was hoping for more given the size of the tub, the better air exchange I have now, the extra space and 2 x 600w bare vertical bulbs.
Temps have dropped a bit here (UK) this week, so had it been two weeks later may have enjoyed some purple colour.

How many Jocks do you think you could circle a 600 watter and get good penetration, Three that size maybe. That would make a difference. You know now better to flower a bit later on. It doubled in size.

Yes, trial and error hey. Good way to learn. I was too keen to get it flowered. Should have also picked a slightly quicker strain, I think the disappointment is worse because it was 10 weeks worth of grow.

Yes you're quite right Harry, I shouldn't complain. I just hoped for a better yield given the extra space and development of the system. Onwards and upwards
