Thats a pretty vague question, you should include things like what equipment you have, your experience, intended growing medium and style, plant count and watt usage you're shooting for.... 14 off 8k is great and if you have a buddy close to you with experience why not use some of his concepts?

Get a flip box. split the space. 4 years i'm pretty sure you got equipment handled - I would just search brand names or model names you are interested in - and I'm sure you'll find something around here on ICMag.

like d said whats your plant restriction?
option 1.you could fit two 10 by 10 rooms in that space ,so thats two 4 plant 5 light setups each one using 3400w so total of 6800w,then use the left over 1200 w for the extra (4 by 12 ft space) at the end,to either donut or stack it.
option2.split your whole space into 8 square each one a donut like HGO ,and rock the house.
option 3.beds and adjutawings like you said ,running out of ideas,..

With a room that Size, I would do one of two things:
1.) I'de either split it into 2-5k flip flop stadiums... each room 12'L X 10' W x 8'H... with this setup, you could get a perpetual harvest going on where you harvest one room every 4-5 weeks, depending on strain. You would probably need to run 20-30 Plants per room, but 2 Lbs's per is not unheard of, and in this scenario, you would be harvesting 8-10Lbs every 4-5 weeks once dialed and running the right hybrid. You would need a Veg room to set up the perpetual...
Or, option 2:
I would set up 2 of the 10x10 5000W PPK Tree grows, harvesting perpetual. Either way, I think both are pretty exceptional. Or you could be a pud and do wings.

Do yourself a favor and just go with 8k horizontal.
I run two 3k stadiums (8x8 rooms) and average 1.3-1.5 per
with GSC...the best I have done so far is 10lbs off 6k.
I have not hit 2# per bulb since I was running 2k in each 8x8 stadium...I was averaging 1.75# per with 4k.
I veg in another room under 1k MH for 6 crops a year.
I think yields would be the same (if not better) with easier maintenance in horizontal...

The more plants you can run, the better. Pot racks, trees, stadiums, whatever - if you've grown for 4 years you can probably figure out which method appeals most.
As for comparing to your friend, he's getting .8 gpw in tight beds. If you run tight beds up the walls you'll probably get more weight than he will running tight beds off the floors. You could still do something like that with pots or raised beds just fine.

You should be able to copy his style and easily beat .8
He must be using soil/organic. Does he use co2?

go vertical grow trees.. and like they said.. flip box.. id do 8k in each room flipped.. and u could pull potentially up to 20 lbs per room if done correctly.

or do 16k in each on flip.. man.. if I could find a place that size that wasn't suspicious and had the money to pay the electric every month.. id be all over growing huge amounts.. but now.. id rather grow amazing buds.. put 3/4s away for smoke.. and sell a lil to friends and family that don't like to meet up with drug dealers to get ripped off for some swag.
