Getting close to chop time , down to 3 weeks left on most of them, think the CBx can go another 5 or so :dance013:

pic 1: group shot, pic 2: both Sour Diesels, pic 3: SD#2 close up, pic 4: SD#1 close up.

SD#1 smells like Lemon Pledge, #2 smells like Lemons and Skunk. ~3 more weeks until done.

CBx is the "Badass Berry" pheno, smells like Mixed Berry Jam, usually takes 12 long weeks to flower this girl... 3 - 5 more weeks to go.

Skunk#1 is going to be done any week/day now, definitely a 7 or 8 week pheno, but I did a late pollination so she will have to wait a bit longer for the seeds to finish

Big Bud has been a runt and in the shadows all its life, she smells sweet and fruity, probably needs another 3+ weeks to finish.

seems to me that the politicians can't leave anything alone. why don't they try to raise taxes an extra 10% on booze? 64 was all about treating herb and beer the same wasn't it?

i don't trust politicians

My take on it is, and always has been, that the politicians will treat Cannabis like a cash cow. Giving them huge amounts of cash to spend mostly any way they want.

If they want more money for schools.... fine. But let's earmark it for 'schools', precluding the administrative palaces that were built some years ago when we were approving most if not all of the ballot issues.

It seems to me that it should be taxed like any other item of retail merchandise. NOT like alcohol or gasoline.

I guess I'm pretty much of the school of where's all the money going? I want an accounting of what they are already collecting in taxes.

If they need more tax money,,, let them quit giving 'tax incentives' to big companies who move into Colorado. If you look at how much money they let the big companies keep (read Corporate Welfare), you will NOT be impressed.

I'll get off my soapbox now. Mostly since it doesn't really matter to me as long as I can grow my 6 plants, I won't be a retail customer anyway. :tiphat:

i feel yall, but dont be so quick to blame the politicians FOR THIS ONE, because MMIG is behind it... that means some dispensaries and businesses are to blame... river rock being a major member of mmig.

and as for where the money goes, read the pdf,
first 40 million goes to schools, i think, just like a64

:thank you: for reminding me

the more they raise taxes the smarter it is to grow your own.

also, the more they tax it the more you can get for herb if you are selling it.... as a grower im often FOR the price of herb goin UP, but not if it supports politicians & regulatory bodies (cops & MED)

Yup... the first $40million.... any amount over that is not earmarked. At least from what I read.

As far as I'm concerned they can asses fees for the 'regulation'. Like they did sort of, on the red cards. I don't own one but a friend said the price went down substantially for his renewal... since they weren't allowed to make a profit from the situation.

The current rate of taxation is sufficient for cloths, cars, etc.... That's enough. If the schools need more funding... put that on the ballot. It's just plain BS to convolute the situation this way.

I'm voting NO on the proposition. Anyone that votes for it is just asking for a screwing... and you can be sure you won't be kissed afterward. :yoinks:

The question is: Just how much will the market bear before NONE of it is sold at retail?

Will it be a felony to 'gift' some to a friend? (Gotta do Something to keep the prisons full!)

Just remember they "ear mark it for Schools" like in this one town they said " all the pay meters will be for school improvements only" and then one day they started funneling money into other accounts and now the school only gets 1/5th of the total...

Use the kids as a decoy.. like saber tooth tigers these guys are.

Realistically I don't think you need to worry about the value of you harvest. When people find that they can grow it legally, they will also want to make a living out of the crop. Or at least a healthy supplement to their income.

The Q will be: How much can you grow legally when it's all said and done? Unless you can crop it on 40 acre fields it'll still be in demand.

Truth be known even wheat and corn crops seem to make the farmers a descent living. But I'm thinking it will take a while to shake out.

I'm looking at 80acres of good bottom land myself. lol

I didn't see anything regarding the 'private' cultivation and consumption of cannabis in those two links........ or did I just not read far enough, or thoroughly enough?

But yes, It looks like they are trying to make it difficult to hand them Billions of additional tax Dollars.

I particularly like the 'Good Moral Character' references. lol
