Old grower but still learning

Hi! Like some, I've cruised IC for awhile and finally decided to jump in and get my feet wet. I've been a grower off and on since 79 in the Seattle area w/mostly gravity hydro and recently have switched to organic soil mix. I currently run a perp setup in a 6x12x8 space under (2) 1000w HPS. I lean toward the medical side, providing for my wife who has a work related back injury and a seizure disorder since childhood. We now live in eastern Wa and love the dry climate and four seasons lacking in the rain belt across the Cascades.

Welcome G Noam. I too lurked here for a long time. Becoming a member opens up all sorts of search options on this website. The archives are full of information. Good move leaving that mold generating climate.

You can say that again, C.R. Born and raised in the Phoenix area, even after 30+ yrs, still couldn't handle feeling like Swamp Thing most of the time. Lol, thought Seattle was bad till I lived in Aberdeen/Hoquiam a few years (80-90 inches/yr) just south of the Olympic Rainforest.

Lurked a few forums for as many years, but read more than a few posts referencing IC as the most reputable source of authority online for serious cannabis cultivators.

Yeah, we been gettin' it earlier and heavier than usual in the entire Pac N W too. Though not so severe other than some dazzling lightning laser light-like shows to enhance those hits from the bong in the evening. :)

Lol. Across the Cascades just east between Seattle and Tacoma there's a park called Flaming Geyser State Park. The first time we went there we had visions of this impressive display at least somewhat on a par with Yellowstone's active geyser notoriety. A short hike at the end of the park leads to a small pool of water from a creek that has methane surfacing continuously and shallow enough to create a flame the equivalent of a disposable lighter cranked on full if you flick your Bic on it to get it going.
