Looking to select some old school european skunk strain

Hi everyone !

I am looking to start a new mother plant from a small selection of regular seeds. I grow indoors with soil.

I am quite a big fan of the skunk lineage (#1, super) with that well known typical taste. If you where in western europe between the 90's and 00's, you know what type of taste/smoke I'm looking for. I don't have any preferences on the potency side.

I did a run of some Kiwi Skunk (Kiwi Seeds) a few years back, found two interesting pheno's but not exactly as skunky as I was expecting.
Selection was made out of 12 regular seeds (had half males), and I won't be able to pop more than 14-16 seeds this time.

I'm hearing Sensi Seeds is not quite as good as it used to be, so I'm really open to suggestions here, breeder-wise
There is so much possibilities to get some "skunks" from regular seeds now, it's ridiculous, lol.

u talking about maybe a skunk smellin strain.. and not the Sweet Skunk all the breeders are workin on. try Super Skunk.. or Skunk x Afghan .. I think some breeder has a new Road Kill Skunk strain that actually stinks very nice. but a lot of people bred out that skunk smell wen they were growing indoors back in the day.. to avoid detection.. I mean.. the REAL ROAD KILL SKUNK would stink its way out even with the best Carbon Filters.

Listed below are the best for old school dutch skunks..

Mr Nice Seeds - Shit (skunk#1 (Dom afghan) x skunk#1)
Serious Seeds - Warlock (highly selected skunk#1 pheno)

Many of Shanti Baba's releases at Mr Nice Seedbank have skunk in their lineage but the variety 'Shit' is the most pure. You cannot go wrong with Shit.. There are so many great reports from this one and it's cheap for the amount of seeds you get in a pack.

Serious seeds Warlock was originally made by Magus genetics before they past all their work on to Serious to continue their work. The Warlock will be harder to grow by all accounts but is a superior plant if grown well. All the crosses with Warlock turn out pretty good.

Your other option would be to get a Cheese cut or some S1/femmed seed since Cheese is a Skunk#1 pheno. There are a lot of breeders with a straight cheese variety out there. Paradise seeds has just bought out their straight cheese femmed seed.. Maybe give that a go..

My advice though would be to buy Mr Nice Shit. Heard so many good things about it. Second would be Warlock..

I'll look into that 'Shit' strain (lol), two Skunk#1 parents seems yummy.
I did find an old pack of Barney's Blue Cheese reg seeds in my seed stash, might pop some seeds as well, but I'm definitely going to check that Mr Nice Shit.

I intend to order both The Pure and Skunk Classic from Flying Dutchman Seeds. Check them out. I doubt I'll be disappointed, particularly by The Pure.

Fast, great high, and tough as nails against pests and poor grow room conditions.

what people think of the Shoreline Cut of Skunk#1?

I'm going for The Shit. Seems to have pretty good reviews and the genetics are plain and simple. The only problem is that Mr Nice auction website admin did not activate my account so I can't bid on them, 1 hour to go ... meh ! lol

I took a look at Flying Dutchman's The Pure / Skunk Classic but they are only available as fem seeds, which I'd like to avoid.

Is there any of you that starts straight at 12/12 light cycle from seeds to make the selection faster? Would I miss important traits during the growth ?

I think they didnt use the real shoreline(known fact at this point) and also that the real shoreline has absolutely zero sk1 in it. NL5Haze.

I don't see the Pure available at the Bou, atm, and it's only available as regs elsewhere.

Near as I can tell, anyway.

I'd go with cheese(exodus/uk cheese specifically). It's, to me, the best 'skunk' out there(unless you can get ahold of those rare stinkers like Albert walker or west coast bigbud).
Connoisseur genetics has some cool cheese croses. If you've never tried cheese or chem d, cheesedog would probably blow your mind.

Here's a suggestion from left field that might be just what your looking for- check out underground originals seed co. I'm pretty sure I've read that 'the blues' is the same as exodus cheese. Nevertheless- they're dedicated to that shit.

Mns shit & warlock would be good skunks too. But after experiencing cheese... There's no going back for me.

most of the exodus around in the states probs isn't the exodus anyway. in seed form id go for kalimans seeds.
