What is your favorite ACE strain?

Nepal Jam. So far it is a stong plant about 7 feet tall and looks easy to trim. I have a shorter growing season because of the altitude, and the plant looks like it will finish well outdoors. Yield looks good and I don't know about the smoke yet.

Dubi describes the bangi high as a "nervous" one. Most folks would consider being 'nervous' as a negative feeling, but maybe it's a wrong interpretation of the word in this case. So, does bangi give you guys any jumpy, twitchy, uncomfortable feelings at all, like you've sucked down five double espressos and then suddenly remember you're late for a public speaking engagement about the calming effects of deep meditation?

Ha! I know what you mean. I have had some very jittery, nervous, and adrenalin rush like smokes before. But frankly, I think I liked them all. Beats the hell out of sleepy strains in my opinion. I do think it does becomes a negative if it is too nervous. I loved Thai Stick, but I'd say it was a bit too nervous. But the trippy aspect was so good and strong, that it was well worth the nervous phase on the way up to the peak experience. For me, the nervous side effects have already significantly diminished by the time that the high reaches the peak, and by then, I have gotten off the couch!

With that in mind, I did not think the one Bangi Haze that I have tried so far was racy or nervous like that at all. Definitely energetic and positive vibes, but I did not experience one twitch of a muscle. I let mine get fairly ripe, with at least 20% amber glands. It still had some fresh pistils coming out though. I have also not pushed the dosage much either. Next time I try it, I will smoke a half jay for you and let you know if I change my mind.

Thanks for the reply, TB. The African genetics are intriguing, but I'm kinda drawn toward the Double Thai. I THINK I remember sampling some thai in the early 70's, not sure, so I was told - it was like being wide awake and ultra-observant in a bright yellow haze of dreamy electric clarity, with a sense of steady, stable, expansive power buzzing beneath it all. Still functional, though. Great midsummer daytime stuff.

Hi dubi,

If I may ask, what is your favorite smoke? Or what are you currently smoking most?

Just curious :tiphat:

Great thread, I have the Zamaldelic regular. my next try will be the
Panama.

I grow small, headroom less than 30".

I enjoy the smoke, cured 60 days. 4 hours effect leaves a nice afterglow,
comes on strong at first, but evens out as a tight mellow rush. You need
to control it, if you know what I mean. Anyone who tries it loves it.

Thanks for your kind words Lester Beans :)

I don't have a favourite strain, each one is appropiate for different situations.

I'm smoking mainly what i'm selecting lately: Kali Chinas, ErdPurt and PCK hybrids. I like a good moroccan hash with high CBD for the night time.
