Panama Red from ACE or Cannabiogen is close to Oaxacan Red I had back in 79. Taste is exactly the same, buzz is close, and next time I will use the uvb reptile bulbs to give it the best light I can do indoors.

Could not deal with fancy Spanish names I guess. I knew I had smoked pot very close to the ACE PR back in the 70's and just thought it was Colombian. Reading on the pot forums they mentioned Mohawken and then Oaxacan being the same thing.Light bulb finally went on. It is out there, you gotta look for it and give it the care it needs.
Never had the Panama Red back then, damn it. Came real close as a guy was importing tons of it, but lost contact with him right before it came in.
Yeah, I shot off a PM to him, but no reply.
Also, I wonder if that is the real old school CT and not some type of hybrid that DNA did. Didn't they supposedly have an auto flowering mom? In addition, Dj said it was terribly difficult to grow, and dark, with very thin leaves. Never grew it myself but remember it being very dark, leafy, with mostly pure black seeds. Perhaps the dark color comes from the cure?

I don't remember the story, if DrawoH got them from DNA or gave them to DNA, but they were pulled from pounds of CT. He does F2's and outcrosses (like Cat Piss x Chocolate Thai) I think.
He's been on another forum for the past couple of days and said he has a bunch of stuff he's working on.

A good old Acapulco Gold would be nice but I fear that is one we actually have lost for good. I'd be surprised if there wasn't one old head with a mom or seeds left but so many of the old guys steer clear of digital.
Such a good point. If strains like the real deal AG are out there, its much more likely being held by an old head not on the interweb.
And fwiw, the DNA boys claim to have gotten their CT out of pounds shipped to LA in the late 80's. They sold them pure for a little while before crossing it to the cannalope haze. So its more likely darwoh got them from don and aaron, imo.

I second Cannivore for Sensi Star. I'd shit myself if there was a worked line or I could find that clone I used to have from old paradise stock.
I think delta 9's super star is a worked Sensi Star line from old stock.
Super Star is worked towards the sativa side of Sensi Star, which even though people say is the original, its not what I remembered as SS. Plus given all these years, the only person I've heard praise that stock is Matt Riot. Super Star is defnintely my fall back plan if I can't find any thing else.
Motarebel was working with some old stock he was F2'ing (hopefully he did before he shut down due to problems). Mota also had some Acapulco gold he was fiddling with too. Sure hope his absence isn't permanent. He was beginning to move towards preservation and revitalizing the older stuff :-(

I don't understand why Paradise no longer makes regular seeds, Fems are ok sometimes but it's nice to have the option.
Edit: it looks like they do have reg seed but they're never in stock.
I've never seen anyone rave about anything from Delta 9, much less talk about them.
