Hey, I want to make some oil som hash, its not really oil its more like hot chocolate. I need help with this because im not sure how to do it. This is how I think it should be done, please correct me where im wrong.

I start with putting about a kg of hash into a jar with 32% alcohol. I let it souk for 24 hour. Now here im not sure what to use ti separate the alcohol and the remainings, is it just a fabricate? The i boil some water and put the solution into a smaller sauce pan and put it above the boiling water. Now I just wait until the alcohol evaporates and then i have oil.

Is this correct? And I would appriciate som advice on what kind of fabric to use for the separation.

Yes that is the proper way of making ISO hash. If thats the highest % alcohol you can get then forget. You can do it with ~70% but it makes a tarry goo(let it sit for no longer then 5min). If you can get 91% or 99% then you are in business. (I shake for 30 sec, let settle for 30sec and then filter.) I also like to freeze the bud/trim/hash. I also keep the alcohol in the freezer up until the time comes to use it.

As far as what to strain it through; Coffee filters. I like to put two paper filter in a metal one.

I would use 95.6% ethanol or 99% Iso, instead of 32%.

Soak and shake until dissolved at room temperature.

A 20/25 micron coffee filter does a reasonable job.

Boiling water, steam, and alcohol are not a good thing, as the alcohol absorbs the water. Better to use a hot plate, reptile or seedling mat, or such, if you don't have vacuum purging capabilities.

Yes, it is. You can se the logo if you look closely. Thats probably why they let it soak for so long.

My apology i saw the label :tiphat:

Stronger liquor like wodka is available in special shops hiding for the outside.

Keep on growing :)

Solly bro, the video is tooooooo long and slow for me to stick around waiting for something interesting to happen.

I can tell you that if they are extracting oil, using something from a Heineken bottle, it isn't beer.

I would expect that with 100 grams of reasonable hash, you should get at least a 60% return or greater.

Is it going to be like oil(fluid) or more like hot choclate?

Depends on the starting material. It starts as carboxylic acid shatter and softens as it decarboxylates with time into taffy.

I experienced hard liquor in a beer style bottle at a Korean BBQ restaurant. They didn't have a liquor license, only beer and wine. It was under the beer offerings in the menu. Resembled vodka...
