Sage: Thseeds

I stopped by a buddies house to burn one and he rolled up some SAGE. I smoke a lot of weed and i have to tell you folks, this shit was top shelf smoke. Him and i smoked a pinner, both of us heavy users and i was toasted.

I asked him if it was a pheno search and he said it was a fem freebie he got with another order. The high was very social and happy and pleasant as hell.

Ive always shy'ed away from the strain because of the flowering time and this plant took 78 days until cut, but he gave me a rooted cut from it and im willing to wait. Good stuff man.

FYI; If you got one of these freebies in your box, grow it out. Youll be pleasantly suprised.

I grew a fem SAGE freebie seed too but wasn't so lucky. I got a runty afghan pheno, yielded good, extremely dense buds, but it had no flavor, no smell, not the best bag appeal, it took 85 days, the high sucked and the inside of all of the biggest buds was loaded with rot. I ended up throwing away half of it and gave away what ever wasn't moldy.

Hey moondawg, glad to hear you liked the Sage. I've never smoked pure Sage (only Sage n Sour and it was awesome ) but currently have 5 fems going in my OD grow. I can tell you these will be monster plants if they keep growing like they are now. Hopefully I don't run into any mold issues IL, my OD spots stays wet 70% of the time but i'm going to be taking preventive measures also. In a few more monthes I should be able to come back and let you know how I liked it. I do plan on keeping this strain around for awhile and will be cloning my fems and keeping the best 1 and also ordering a standard pack to find a good male to make more seed stock. Cool, i got a real nice pheno from a single freebie also, you can tell its quite Afghan dominant in structure (short & strong) and really frosty with a good yield but the taste and high are very unusual, really nice smoke and well.. just different.

Have 4 more freebie seeds to do too, i saw the sage & sour on weed wars, looks like some top shit.

hey butter what kind of taste are u speacking about? the THSeeds description says it has a sandalwood taste but i've red here and there on forums that the main taste is grapefruit..! swim has one SAGE atm outdoor in the balcony..looks very afghan dominant to him. i'm also interested if it could be a NYCD similar grapefruit taste maybe without the diesel scent

Well Iron Lion, this plants looked pure afghan with big fat, almost rounded leaves at first but later on, the leaves became thin and the plant was almost blue in color. Smell? You could smell this plant from downtown and is just beautiful and peppery in taste. No rot. He has a room full of clones going now and I will too soon. Impressive as hell.

Guys, this plant had big fat afghani looking leaves. He showed me some pics and these were some fatso leaves but in the end, they were fairly thin and the buds had a bit of a haze appearance. Huge, spear like and god awful coated in resin. It looked like the plant had been dusted. You,ll like the results.

PS. Im growing Thseeds Burmese Kush outdoors and of course i havent smoked it yet but the plants are vigorous and impressive. If it finishes in 50 days like the info says and has anywhere near the potency of the Sage, ill be happy as hell.

Kant C. Shit, i hope youll post up some info about your OD grow. Im mostly and OD grower and ive wondered about the finishing time on Sage. Let us know how it does.

moondawg i had very bad experiences with the buku, i put 9 seeds. i got 6 males, 3 females. 2 of the females were fucked up weird sativas that never finished. but one of them was a steller og kush dominant pheno with golf ball nuggets and a very funky/sour taste and smell. i have to say that anyways it wasnt worth it, i dedicated a whole 400w for them and it wasnt worth it.

Hey moondawg, I will definately keep you updated on their progress OD. So far I will say overall its the biggest and fastest growing strain I have OD currently and doing better then some strains at this time from different years (its on a better pace already). Looking forward to seeing it flower out and sampling all 5 fems . Sometimes I wish time would speed up but then where would all the fun be lol. Take care 1

Damn filtrOw, my seeds are fems, god i hope yours werent. The plants have huge leaves and are vigorous as hell. I havent checked to see if theres preflowers but i will now.

moondawg, regular, if they were fem it would fucked up in a whole different level, best of lucks with your grow, i do have to say that this female i ended up rescuing from this pack was really stellar smoke, a good og pheno with mild production but super dense smoke and heavy indica effect

I gave my friend two freebie regular sages I received in an order to start and we got two girls. One is coming down at 13 weeks, the other maybe another week. Tall plants with good stretch, huge dense buds, and hopefully we get that grapefruit taste/smell in the end!

Heads up on the burmese kush (buku), got one freebie fem and it hermied badly. Too bad, it was super vigorous, had a 3/4" diameter stem under floros in veg at about 1.5 months from seed!

i got a cut of sage some 4-5 years ago. i remember the smoke being indicaish and the smell been fresh incense-like, unusual. flowered it for 80+ days. don't have anything bad to say about it except i was expecting more sativa-influence but of course that depends on the pheno. had a neville going at the time too which was ultimately decided to be better, but now i wish i'd kept that particular sage, damn hindsight.

I love my SAGE cut. I wish it was stronger, but it is feel good weed with a bit of trippy edge. Best quality I have in my collection. Can't help but look for better and stronger, but it has been hard to find.
