Juicer

Looking for recommendations/reviews of juicers. I've read that masticating models are better for raw, fibrous plant material. I'm looking to process underdeveloped flowers and lower branches. Any thoughts?

You are right, masticating juicer for leafy greens. Here is a site that has some brands you can look over.If you look at the site, you will see that he has a TON of videos reviewing juicers @ youtube.Of course,he has juicers for sale, but he is very enthusiastic, and he might well provide some ideas for you to consider.I was in the market for one myself, but being on a fixed income means I might need to consider a mortar and pestle. for that matter, you could just head over to youbloob and do a search, there will be LOTS of videos to watch.

One thing to consider...and no offense to anyone, but as with most things, the less moving parts the better.(at least that has proven true for me).Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestions folks. I wonder if the Norwalk is worth 2k+.

I have a $99 Jack Lalaine juicer and it goes through canna stalks quite nicely. I juiced a Blue Moon Rocks lower branch and got floaty and my pain was reduced, in fact I didn't feel the achy body parts at all.

The Norwalk probably is worth 2K+ for those who use it for cancer therapies. Not saying that the juiced cannabis isn't a cancer therapy, but the Norwalk is used for slightly different purposes. It has a 2000lb hydraulic press that squeezes out some pretty vital stuff that 99% of the other juicers just can't get to.
I've had the Green Power Juicer in the past and it did only a mediocre job at wheatgrass. I'm doubtful it is strong enough for really resinous buds, but am hard pressed to come up with something else that would fit the bill. Other than a manual wheat grass juicer or one of the manual wheatgrass juicers converted to electric.
I suppose you are doing the right thing by asking those who have experience in the matter. Other than that, getting in touch with those healing centers (probably in Cali) that use the juice as part of their regimen.

Well I am looking for a machine that will last a long time. I suspected that a bunch of the middle of the road juicers wouldn't be suitable for tough cannabis stalks. With those kinds of purchases you kinda want to see a demo first. Just bring some fresh material into your local dealer...

Amazon has customer reviews on juicers too_Only problem with reviews,is that most folk post a review in the first month or so,and that doesn't address possible product shortcomings based on repeated usage over an extended length of time.
