Hi sam was just wondering what your thoughts on autoflowering were. They've been out for a while now and was just wondering if you like them. Cheers.

Sorry you didn't get a reply for the dude. I'll chime in.

Autoflowering plants have a special niche; they can be harvested 3 times a year in warmer places, even placed in corn fields at the correct time for a harvest requiring little work. They're mostly dwarfs, which is ideal for a guy using a micro stealth grow for his stash. As more growers have learned to breed, auto strains are continuing to evolve with them, so the potency and taste have become the same as many photo strains. Expect an auto to someday win a high times cup.

If you're interested in breeding your own personal strain, I suggest using a Lowryder#2 male to pollinate your intended female. Choose f1's for breeding that flower first, and by f4 you should have the auto trait stabilized. There's a fabulous network of auto lovers online, which is very easy to find.

Another good thing about autos is you can time them to coincide with weather. I could time the flower cycle for the dryest part of the year and they would definitely flower then (which would prevent rot).

Indoors they can be flowered next to vegging photo strains (strains that flower on 12/12). I am vegging next to a plant in late flowering right now!
