Pineapple skunk was very vigorous and easy to grow. It stank to high heaven of fruity skunk during flower. Too much so really. Everytime I opened the tent the smell was like a wave and a powerful one at that!

Alas didn't get a fruity/pineapple pheno. It was pretty much plain old skunk which still did its job nicely but no thanks for a repeat.

OG Kush ended up being a nice smoke although the yield was awful (down to me).

Some of the other strains look interesting. Blue Dream gets good write ups, Em-Dog gets good hype, and headband is a smoke I had a long, long time ago that I'd love to have around again.

So far I'd not repeat purchase anything besides the OG Kush but that would only be to see if I could get it right the second time out. I did like the smoke though. Strong, cloudy high, hunger then tiredness. Nice 2 hour ride. It smelled a bit like Lemon cleaner when ground.
If you investigate further you may find a photo album with bud shots....

Thanks for this. I am vegging up Pineapple Skunk as I type this and I noticed it was pretty pungent when I was doing some maintenance today. I can only imagine how stinky it is going to be when I actually flower it.

It was a freebie, so if I like it, I will clone it and if not...well on to the next strain.

HSO is the worst kind of seed company, I took a look thru their catalog and now they have all these clone only strains magically in regular seed form.

They really prey on suckers while dropping a deuce in the gene pool.

I disagree.

I think Greenhouse preys upon suckers, because they brand and market with the intent to confuse and cash in falsely on recognition.

Those who sell their buds to dispensaries and those dispensaries who buy without testing, and I mean smoking, not lab testing do a disservice.

I don't think there is anything disingenuous about making S1's of clone only cannabis and selling them.

I think this generation of cannabis smokers is too spoiled for its own good. You guys aren't even smokers anymore, you're vapers.

I see reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, I said REGULAR seeds with names of clone only's with no mention of the parentage. This is quite disingenuous as the real clone only's only exist in female form. It's a marketing ploy to prey on people that think they are getting the real thing and in reality are not.

And I'm not a vape'r ;)

floralheart, i grew my first outdoor grow in 1968 and have grown a crop every year since and started growing store bought seeds indoors in 97 and grow at least 2 crops inside a year. Ive grown more than 200 store bought strains. I made my first cross in 1988 of mexican and pakiistani.

I dont appreciate being called a sucker and a dupe. I had a good bit of experience under my bele when shanti and others were getting their diapers changed.

I just finished up a greenhouse seeds Chemdog grow and im not sure what genetics are in it, but it was straight up top notch smoke. I dont keep many moms. Ihave a good og and a good afghani, but i made a mom of the GH chemdog and plan on growiing it again several times. I want some jars full of the stuff for MY personal stash. I really couldnt give a rats ass where they got it or what genetics are in it. but its top shelf smoke and the price makes me just happy as can be!

I grew the Humboldt Trainwreck along side trainwreck offereings from Homegrown fantasys', Dr. Greentbhumb, Greenhouse seeds,Th seeds, sagarmatha and several others. I grew 8 difffereent TW offerings side by side

They all were just alike. Big buds that had to be supported 3 weeks into flower. All hermied at 65 days just like the original. All minty/menthol. All a pain in the butt to grow.

Humboldts was as good as the others and quite a bit cheaper than several of the others that werent a bit better. My buddy grew out the Bdream and it was decent smoke and nice plants.

The purchase of either of these strains from Humbold makes one a thrifty prudent shopper in my view. Certainly not a "sucker".

Dont fall prey to over priced name brand companies and offerings. There's just too much competiton wanting the growers dollar to not shop around and find very good quality smoke and bargain basement prices. Im not one for name calling so im not try to belittle anyone, but folks stuck on buying the high dollar stuff now days are missing the boat. The Maple leaf indica mom i keep is the finest repreesentation of afghani ive been able to find in 40+ years and i paid $45 bucks for the seeds.

Wise up.

Humboldt seeds is one of the best for cheap seeds for sure there is dank in there gear and IMO that they don't charge a million dollars a pack for them. Another good company that sells cheap beans and has fire in there gear is emerald triangle ya they had a issue with there fem. line but that shit is all sorted out plus there regular beans are great also. I know they say that E.T used a lot of zoo's gear to make there crosses. Well hey we all know zoo's lemon Larry and nl#5 is dank as shit. If you haven't tried out E.T gear I suggest u do best bang for your buck also. I also grew greenhouses trainwreck and it sucked balls the thing was very very vigorous in veg and at the end of flower the thing stalled out on me and only harvested like a half ounce from the plant. The smoke was great but just pissed me off that it stalled out. Also IMO greenhouses exodus cut is great smoke plus there super lemon haze is off the wall with many people who grow there cuts of super lemon I would say that is one of greenhouses flagship strains and what everyone mainly buys from them. There super silver haze has way To much variation from what I have heard. I still have greenhouse beans exodus cheese and super silver haze.

I have been growing some Sour Blueberry from HSO and so far am very impressed. I have a mother that I have been taking clones from for a while now. I also have one outside and one inside that are both in flower.

I normally don't post pics of my flower area due to the fact that the LED's make it impossible to tell heads or tails of whats going on, but what the hell...

I have also ran their bubba kush. When I harvested it the buds seemed really loose but I didn't think to myself 'This is some of the most frosty and nice looking bud I've ever grown'. To my surprise once it dried and cured the buds were hard as rocks, Never had a strain get harder once dry but I guess thats nature. I had 1 clone of it left and good thing I did because I am going to keep it as a mom. People telling me its the best bud I've grown to date. Can't argue with that...

Both strains were grown from seed...

I smoked some caboose by HSO which is Trainwreck x SC Big Bud recently a friend grew and it was dank as shit, Thinking about running some beans of it in the outside garden next summer. Both are proven genetics outdoors around here, so the cross will probably be wonderful .

I am only a few days into cure so I really can't at this point comment on the taste. The smell however is very blueberryie.

As far as all the free beans you got; Do some price matching and you'll see you actually paid for them.
