Need helpl understanding nutrient measures

I have read cervantes, rosenthal and green on the subject of soil nutrients but yet I still can't seem to understand the readings I get and the idea of full strength, 1/2 strength etc.

I have a bottle of natures own super bloom which states average garden application is 5-10ml per litre. When I mix 5ml to the litre my EC wand doesn't read anything. At roughly 15ml (3 teaspoons) I get 0.8 EC and the ph is 6.8 adjusted from rainwater of 7.0.

All the books suggest to start 1/2 strength but cervantes also suggests EC's up to 1.8! IIRC So have I dosed too high with 15ml per litre? Or is natures own very weak compared to other bloom feeds?

One of the plants (critical) is burnt a little since the feed but the other (bubblelicious) is fine.

your best bet is to mix it on the low side, i'd try the 5ml and step it up gradually, that way you'll see if they need stronger food instead of chancing burning them. as far 1/2 strength goes, take whatever mix you're using (for example 5ml per gallon of water) and dilute it with an equal amount of water (for example 5ml per 2 gallons of water) and that would be half strength

What kind of meter do you have?

If you're getting .8 EC @ 15mL, you should be getting 0.27 EC @ 5mL.
