Sorry if this is repeated, Didnt really want to read the 10 pages I missed right this second,
But did you manicure them girls? I was always told to when flowering is 50-60% so it focuses on flower production, but I have also read that doing any manicuring is bad. However your girlies are 10 days younger than mine and looking more dense, However I have more bud sites, and I have so many leaves its like a forest. Just curious if I should trim em up to look like yours since Im already at day 75

Also, Are you just a good photographer, or is that a dope camera? A was hearing how a cannon powershot is good, But I got a 13 MP cannon PS, and its pictures come out terrible close up. Any advice?

Do you mean removing the leves before harvesting?
Take your pick on that. Most say it is bad, because the leaves store nutes for the buds, only chop them if they shadow a bud.
Some, however say defoliating will cause the buds to swell. I think the former makes the most sense.
She did no such thing, nor have I.
The manicure job looks better than my first

DevinsDad -- nope. No manicuring other than taking off a leaf here and there and giving it to my cat to eat :D Thanks, but I think because I have such a cheapy grow setup, they just are kinda naturally small and open.

I just use my phone to take all my photos. It is an 8mp camera, but I occasionally stick my loupe in front of the lens to take more close-up photos. Thanks for the compliment!!!

hi sis, that LP is looking remarkable and it is great to hear she smokes so good! :dance013:

hope you don' t mind a little piece of advice from pink rabbit? why don't you still reveg the LP but only for a couple of weeks and only for the purpose of taking new cuttings of revegged mother plant?

after your cuttings root you could ditch the mother plant and proceed with her clones.

this way the gene stock would remain with you even if you can't get more clones from the friend of your friend.

just a thought but think about it if you got space and time :good:

Yeah NKOT's is right, weeding through seed's for a keeper is a bizznatch... But since you may be able to get quality clones regularly soon, then it would all be a matter of whether you can keep the plant around for re-veg. In all honesty re-veg isn't rocket science, and root pruning (Cutting back the rootball...) does not need to be as scientific as Rednick said (Maybe for DWC, but soil just cut n transplant, maybe feed some humic/root booster's to help with the shock if you need it to turn around faster. You can basically just leave them be, water here and there and you will be ready for clones in a month or two... Better than going 2 month's of seedling/veg to have a male or a shite pheno IMO... LP look's like some dense lemony skunk, I wanna turn it into some greazzy BHO just looking at it!

+1 ... and one of those new cuttings and have a go at a bonsai mom, then you have for as long as you want. Everyone has constraints, my mom, clone, seedling box is 39Gal rubbermaid with a single 42CFL and 1 exhaust fan ... not a lot of space or resources ... though it's not very stealthy ;)

Wow. I can't believe you get such good pics w/ your phone!!
Mine are terrible, in comparison.

This is what I was planning on doing with the widow. Is rednicks way gonna be more...successful?

HARVEST!

HARVEST!

Harvest day for LP today!

Here's the goods... minus a couple popcorny buds I forgot to throw on the paper. These, plus the tester bud I chopped the other day, totalled... 57 grams wet :woohoo: Not bad for my first time on a plant only a foot tall!

Now... to the revegging... this is what is left of her. Do you think I should take that last bud off to the right, or will that leave too little???

I took 3 small buds from the bottom of my GOLDEN KUSH ,AN ROOTED THEM ABOUT 2 MOUNTH AGO, now u can see new veg groth coming in. they look a little rought but in a few weeks ill have a veg clone. its not that hard just takes time:thank you:

Looks really good! I'd take that last bud to the far right, but leave the smaller one to the near right. Probably should let her dry a bit, then root prune her too, repot with some new soil and give her some food then back into 18/6 or 24/0 - whatever you're using.

hi girl,

congrats on nice harvest and promising results :good:
dry, roll and enjoy

imho you can cut not only the big bud on the right but also 2 or 3 of the smaller ones. just careful to leave some material close to the stem where the leaves come out. in the leaf nodes there are generative parts of new shoots.

lurking with curiosity, fingers crossed for a successful reveg!

:smoke:

That bud was an extra 3g wet, so the total harvest was 60g :) I am a proud momma!

I quick-dried another bud today -- and thought I ruined it (I put the mic on 10 min instead of 1 min and walked away. Ugh... ended up nuking it for like 3 minutes, and this was supposed to have been the last round of 1 minute nuking.) but I tried it anyway, and I am amazingly baked right now. Like seriously. LOL!

I will start another thread for the LP re-veg in a while.

You can expect some unusual growth during reveg,
don't worry about that as long as she stays green.

It's a slow process, but you'll get new info about
the plant as a result.

Congrats on the harvest, super plant.

TOTALLY not related, but... is this board superstitious? :D I always make my photos 888x666, and every time, they get resized to 887x665. Kinda makes me chuckle...

Funny the upload page says max 800 so that's what I resize to, but I think there is some processing done by the upload script too. Not superstition, but computer magic -- perhaps the same to some! lol
