Looking really nice man. The Satechism is a really nice cross.
Easy and rewarding to grow.
I can see some big colas forming. Those are gonna be some frosty bats when done.
Good luck

Mo' Mud

Mo' Mud

So had trim from the 2 DCong F4 and the 2 Hell Hound IX1S1 in the freezer..decided...to screen it up

^ That's it...the fresh splotches. The cube is that Mox Mox/Red Kali Most F5 mud..I made the other day. Damn I know it ain't even dry..but I've already vaped off that cube...yesterday evening. It goes against the grain...but I only like vaporizing hash...when it's very fresh.

We've been having rain the last couple days...not steady...but enough to bring up the humidity. Here's how the Scrub plant is reacting

^ Interesting design. Flowers look like they will develop into fat spears. I'm feeling she is driven by sativa bloodlines...and with this feeling...I'm willing her to be a faster flowering blood. I'm warning her...but then again she already knows..about our cold nights. She's been there..came up the hard cold way...

* another morning run with the wife. Kept it under an hr :)53)...gave her as much rolling terrain as I could...a stretch run...building run. Some days it's good to throw in a mellow run..some days it's good to throw in a punishing run...break down...build up

oops..that would be an ECSD stud messing around with a very sexy Chem SD lass...a stout but very burly boy was born...soon he had his way with my SFVOG cut....the offspring were robust but awkward...Wally Duck comes to mind. I found a special gal and hit her with all the love the ECSDxCDSD daddy had to give and she gave me this beauty. She has a couple sisters....I usually don't' take clones....but I'm sure glad I listened to my gut on this one...

Wow VTA....you are laying it down up there. What a great collection of genetics to be progressing. Totally understand the gut feeling thing (obviously..as I preach it often enough)....

Don't see how you can go wrong. You really can't. I think that's important in anything...to set yourself up for success. Props man

Hell Mox Project update

Hell Mox Project update

Did more than a few transplants yesterday. Sexing the Hell Hound IX1 and getting the females into 1.7 gal squares...for extended vegging.

The majority of the Mox Mox IX1 (started before the Hell Hounds) have sexed..already transplanted...over the last week or so.

* What I'm finding is that the females in both crosses are showing 1st. I'm finding an ample amount of females...and thus far...I've only confirmed a single Mox Mox male. Often I find slow to show expressions to be male.

Here's what a typical Mox Mox IX1 female (left)...and a typical Hell Hound IX1 female (right) look like on this fine morning

Mox Mox = Chem DD X TFlux

TFlux = Original Flo X Chem DD

Hell Hound (Note) : I'm using beans only from the OG Jam mother side so..in this case

Hell Hound = OG Jam X Odessa IX1/OG Jam (mixed pollen)

Odessa = Casey Jones X Cindy Jones

Cindy Jones = Casey Jones X C99BX

OG Jam = SFV OG x Ghost OG X Ghost OG

* technically some of the Hell Hound could actually be OG Jam IX2 depending on what grain of pollen landed...but no matter...no matter at all

I think I said that I was also going to blend the pollen to make Hell Mox....blend the Hell Hound IX1 and Mox Mox IX1 pollens together...and dust away. But yeah...that's exactly what I'm going to do...

this really loses me. The more that is blended without regulation...the further we get away. This goddamned burden everybody has to weigh themselves with...."I wanna know I wanna know"........not me brothers.

Give me some fine girls...built out of genetics I love and respect...mix me that dust...I'll build some sweet vapor clouds

Rezdog, H3ad, DJ Short, ClearBarbedFunk...........good shit man...which ever way the wind blows..I'll find it in Hell Mox

Where is there Fallacy...

Where is there Fallacy...

in running your guts out? Under heavy skies...temps in the mid 70's..darkness...moisture holding..winds cool from activity

heading out and up...see if I can't find some weather..to be under or in...

This last 1/2 of August has been with moisture...as rare as...the 1st 1/2 being cold stalled

taking full advantage of these conditions...it's like a piece of Heaven right now...hardly do I sleep

this is my favorite time of year coming up...cooler but still warm during the day, nice crisp night temps, nice and dry again...time to sprout some seeds...great riding weather...been working the last of the fit problems out with the bike, the worst thing for me on long rides has been hand numbness followed by burning pain...slowly been swapping things out, adding things on...think its finally about there...3 sets of bar end,1 set of ergon grips and a roll of padded gel tape later and i think i have something that works...really taken a big leap in endurance and strength with the new rig, able to go for much longer periods of time in the saddle and the amount of continuous wattage i can crank out while being at a fairly relaxed breathing rate has gone up quite a bit...really ready for the next plateau...another 6 weeks of riding and i should be fit enough that 40-60 mile rides become more the norm,or 3-4 hours of saddle time without the trailer, and being able to start those longer 80-100 mile days...

Use a kitchen microplane on the hash.

Right after you let it dry for about 24 hrs. Stick it in the freezer to firm it up. Micro plane it onto some parchment paper and dry it for a day or so. Use a credit card to scrape it up and store it in jars. Full melt bubbley goodness. Prevents it to dry and cure evenly and it will stay blond and greasy if you don't work the product too much in bags. Always use fresh frozen trim

Take a microplane to it and thank me later

My stuff dries quick. I know people pulverize it into crumbs for drying...and I've done that...but really I just roll it all into a ball and let it sit in a dark place for 5 days or so...then into a jar in the fridge.

I also have found that using a food dehydrator on a low setting works well.

* I make hash...mostly for my wife. She prefers smoking hash to vaporizing flowers. I prefer flowers....call me 'merican...but I still prefer flowers. I do go on hash binges...but always come back to flowers.

** I put my trim in 2 gal buckets...fill in with water...put a lid on it...into the freezer.

Haul it out...thaw it out...put on industrial gloves and break it up...swirl it around for a couple minutes...then pour the entire bucket through the screens (in a 5 gal bucket)...swirl it for a minute...let it sit for 10..then pull screens

220...73...25 micron...fuck the rest of them...get it done fast and efficiently. Making bubble hash lost its fun...years ago lol...I just get it done.

Here's the ball in total. All the strains combined into one ball...Mox Mox, Red Kali Most F5, Deep Congo F4, and Hell Hound IX1S1

The ball will be ready for the jar in a few more days...but ready to smoke/vaporize presently....tasty stuff..gets one high as hell

Yeah man...I'm killing it right now. Day after day on the trails. I took Sunday off...that's it.

Training the wife is actually really benefiting my own training. When I run with her...I'm spending most of my time concentrating on what she's doing..and since we are running at a slower pace...I don't beat myself up as much. I'll sprint out ahead at my pace for a while...then come back..and run behind her for a while..then back out in front. She's doing really well....making good progress...and enjoying herself (important)

Ran hard for 1:53 today...shit was flying by...felt strong and fast. The condition of the trails is primo...the weather conditions balmy...got to push when it's so good. Body feels as good as it ever does....staying fueled up....stretched out..not all bashed up

yeah,i could really use a training partner, been meeting lots of the local bike community lately, been saving up some money to buy my buddy a bike, did me a proper and had my back when i could barely feed myself,we have spent years hiking and rock climbing and camping together,i just cant hike anymore, feet hurt too much at this point....plus its just so bloody slow!! anyway, hopefully he gets motivated to ride again,it really is a good gettin old sport since its actually pretty easy on the joints for the most part...been a challenge getting the bike adapted for how my body is messed up for sure...

Trained with the wife again (3rd time this wk)........nice early morning...muggy run. Helping the girl to learn to...run silent. You shouldn't hear your feet landing.

Almost wrecked myself off a boulder..a foot hung up....hate that feeling. Caught myself about a foot away from face slamming rock. Lot like skateboarding...you have to know how to fall. The real falls...you never see coming..it's over before you know what's happening

I've started bombing hills a lot harder...lot faster..shit is fucking crazy. It's more flying than running....and you can bust major style

In a big Mess

In a big Mess

These plants of mine...why is it...no matter how much space you think you have...the plants end up crammed?

^ Left to right: Satechism IX1 (day 14) Strange Days (day 30) Queen Mox clone (day 30)

Once some stuff harvests...I'll be able to spread them out a little more (not much)...but right now they are on top of each other.

* I didn't expect the vigor that this Strange Days is showing. No height adjustments...but she bushes out like a bastard. On day 30 she is..just now.. starting to form actual flowers...whereas the Queen Mox clone is way ahead. Take a look (if it looks like a bud..it belongs to Q. Mox)

^ Totally different structures...yup...you can see how I've had to put in major bends to control height..on the Queen Mox. She is a hollow tubed vine (more a vine as a clone than she was in the seed run...also not showing the low down intersex...she showed in the seed run)...takes to the bending like a champ...but she sure does..reach for the light

Strange Days though....man..I'm not sure of anything there. I have no idea what she wants to be. Absolute pig in her tray...drinks with a fury.

Strange Days = BMS X BS 2.2

Satechism = Casey Jones X BS 2.2

Mox Mox = Chem DD X TFlux

TFlux = Original Flo X Chem DD

Early Sample

This bud is off the grapefruit smelling OG X BS2.2 IX1

And here are those plants

And here are those plants

^ couple shots of the 2 OG X BS2.2 IX1 from one end of their wall. The plant closest (on the left in the pix) started flush a few days ago. She's kind of a citrus funk...blueish attributes... but perhaps also...driven by the SFV OG in the cross.

^ Here's shots from the grapefruit end (she's on the right in the pix)....fading nicely...been removing her spent leaves every session. Reeks like grapefruit. I swear I've grown this plant in Mikado...but that didn't reek like grapefruit..like this girl. Flower wise and structure wise...same plant as in the Mikado. Close enough anyway

Cool ass plant expressions...all the bells and whistles...great growers

Opening Up Shrub Plant

Opening Up Shrub Plant

Took the time to T-post her into a better flowering pose. She's being fed Pure Blend Bloom every day...4 oz per feeding.

^ so yeah..kept squat and tied to a cage that encircles her bottom 1/2 (she was caged off early on...then another bigger cage was added as she grew..her original cage is what anchors her)...now tied to the T-posts to direct and support. Removed a bunch of inside leaves..so as to...get better light and breathability all through her canopy.

Here's how her flowers are developing

^ She's all bud. Every branch is starting to fill with bud through out their entire length...aromas are kicking in as well.

* weather has been crazy...getting rain..lots of warm nights and hot/muggy days. Unusual weather for Sept..but favorable for outdoor gardening...hopefully the season extends well into Oct

classic spears....wonder why all the 3 leaves?

For sure spears. I'd say a sativa hybrid...still thinking it may be that cross between Tweety IX1 and Odessa IX1...something similar anyway. Looks like she can be finished by mid Oct...or maybe...that's wishful thinking.

Not sure on the 3 bladed leaves...maybe I hit her too hard with Pure Blend Grow? I was keeping her on the N up until about fours days ago. Could be the genetics...maybe the sun...not sure. Pretty leafy...but all my OD plants...over the yrs...have seemed leafy...no matter how I've grown them.

Anyway...I bought a gallon of the Bloom the other day (finished old bottles of Grow and Bloom already)...plan is...to keep smacking her with it...another couple weeks...after that...she can mellow in whatever...is in the soil. The Pure Blend seems to work really well. When I started her on it...she reacted pronto

Should be a decent little harvest...considering all she's been through. See what comes up...could easily get wiped out by hail or mold...who knows what else..bonus harvest is how I see her
