what is the difference

between 1200 watt cfl's and 1200 watt sodium ?
is there a diff. and I really need to know , economy wise, yield wise, end quality wise, any input appreciated guy's please.cheers.

Look at lumens and spectrum. CFL's put out less lumens for the same watts. I never heard of a 1200 cfl or hps. LED's seem to take the cake these days, as far as usable output per watt.

thanks for reply, still doesn't answer my question, I can buy 4x300 watt cfl's, will they perform as good as 2x600 watt hps ????? I understand lumens
