Hi my icmagers,

My LA Choc girl at day 27 of 12/12 is looking in pretty good nick . Although this morning I noticed some unusual brown spots on the very bottom fan leaf. Just one mind and not all the lower fan leaves. The plant is a big lady at over 5 feet. She is in a 5 gal container and I know there could be some potential root binding issues as I have seen some roots come out of the bottom holes in the container. I am watering as I feel the pot getting lighter and not overdoing it in terms of watering or adding nutes each week.
Buds are developing nicely. In fact I saw a lot of extra pistils after giving her bloom nutes this morning.
What does everybody think is causing the brownish spot on this leaf?. And how can I fix it .......or is it just normal at 4 weeks of 12/12?

pls feel free to give your take on what might be going on

That is perfectly normal and will progress slowly, on the bottom most leaves, until harvest day. Perfectly normal brother, rest easy.:ying:

Yea mate you should be right. Its normal. It took me a while to figure out I wasn't necessarily doing anything wrong. I kept trying to remedy the situation, only to make it worse. So yea, just chill and she'll just do her thing.

Anyways, keep up the good work. You seem to be doing well.

Good words D. Much appreciated. I too have resisted the urge to find an unneeded remedy or solution to natural events in the life cycle of the plant. I am crossing my fingers that I yield fairly well from this lady. She along with a WW female are the only plants in flower right now. Out of 4 , the other two were males. Well just playing the odds and this time an equal number of males to female ratio.
