Any reviews or info on TGA genetics?

As I've stated in the past, I loved the Jillybean cut I had. Beautiful, super frosty, vigorous, and tasted exactly like orange Lifesavers. I'm growing out some Ace Of Spades and Cheesequake seedlings. The AOS are all very similar, indica dominant plants, with great vigor, tight node spacing, and lots of thick-stemmed branching. The CheeseQuake is showing a little more variety, but most appear to strongly favor their skunk/Cheese mother. I started with 10 beans of each, and all twenty germinated within 48hrs. I had two AOS that didn't really take off like the rest, so I discarded them, and one CheesQuake that was runty, and hypersensitive to nutes, and I removed it as well. I'm at five weeks from germination, and all have shown pre-flowers.... I have four AOS females, and five Cheesequakes. I also kept the best looking male of each strain for some pollen collection. I have some The White (S1) beans that I'm gonna find a mom from, and I'm thinking that pollen from these two guys might be ideal for crosses with her.

why not call it what it is?
spacequeen of subcools is sqxc99.
subtools jillybean is a cindy99 back cross.
go reread subcools hightimes article where he is writing about how he bred his spacequeen. there is an inconsistency around the male he used indicated by how he wrote about the breeding. when i questioned subcool over at bra-bay he decided to end our friendship and instantly banned me. after digging around i found a post from suny cheeba- subcools partner at the time of the breeding of spacequeen- and this is when the truth starts coming out. it was when subcool blatantly began lying about his breeding that suny cheeba decided to part ways with him. there is also a horrible accounting about what really happened regarding the creation of dannyboy and how he got the stock in the first place. subcool wrote books filled with lies if any of what i have found out is true.
subcools "strains" are nice and fill a niche for fruity frosty varietals.
he is also a generous marketeer.
he also talks mad shit about people who help him like ed rosenthal and hightimes danny danko behind their backs.
he tried to covertly take my picture when i first met him at hempfest in 08.
so many are so quick to support a flashy presentation.
do your research.

ya, i came here just to lie and tear down good people with my trolling hateful self lol.
:woohoo:
whatever.
i tell you i am only going by my own experiences and things other people relate to me.

subcool is shady and treated me like i was beneath him.
he would ban anybody that spoke against him in the slightest.
there is question about the actual breeding of his main variety.
his reaction to me alone was a shock to me and is why i feel there is truth to these accusations.

Have grown vortex, time wreck, jtr and agent o. The vortex was a clone and it yielded a small amount of above average pot. The rest were ten packs with agent orange giving 2 good females, time wreck and jtr were a waste of time because of the variation with no keepers.

I bought these seeds when I first stared growing and will admit that the pictures inspired the purchase. I'm more knowledgeable now about cannabis and breeding. Passionate or not the guy seems like a used car salesman. Hubris maybe. Also, paying close to $100 for any of his strains is steep. Chuck some pollen of your own for the cost of electricity. Or better yet, get a space queen male and hit every clone in your room.

Man, u guys are tough on TGA. I'm not a professional grower like a lot of u guys here but I do perty good for myself. Between my first seed purchase from Reeferman Seeds to my Last few of TGA and a few other companies in between The phenos I got from TGA blow away the stuff I had from other breeders. Plushberry Vortex? OMFG! Anyway, not trying to be a dick or start shit just saying I'm so happy w/ what I got from TGA it's all I have in my garden now. thanks.

I have an original pack of dannyboy....does all this mean I need to toss it out with my compost ? elk..

thats your decision, personally, i wouldnt, any seed can be chronny....but will be it your favorite? who knows! :) if you access to other strains and dont live in an area where its "cool" - i wouldnt waste your time tho....

maybe ill post them up as freebies for someone else to grow, as long as I get cuts or seeds back from any keepers :whistling:

This actualky sounds like a great plan... wish there was something like this around. I would not hesitate to join and donate... like a bean/cut pool to take and leave...

Here is a list of strains Ive tried growing from tga:

1. Querkle- to me was a proof of concept, how close did he come to duplicating that yummy grape flavor. Well, must say wasn't too far off on smell and flavor. Average all around, didn't keep any as I already have grape ape.

2. Jilly Bean - was hoping for that rumored red skittle pheno, but only got some that were leaning on an orange candy thing. Big stretchy plants, decent yields, average overall, didn't keep any.

3. The Flav - had a pheno that was super super frosty, but lacked smell and flavor. Might be willing to try again one day, in hopes of finding one that tasted unique.

4. The 3D - All 3 phenos I tried were very similar. Kinda stretchy, fairly small budded, with a faint smell that I could never place. Ran it a few times as it was some of the frostiest looking bud while it was growing. Didn't keep any because they lacked smell and taste.

5. Plush berry - Had 3 phenos of plush berry, 2 I call the "white pheno" as they had no dark colors and were super frosty. Not too fruity smelling, and not super tasty. The other pheno was super dark purple with similar faint smell and taste. Ran them a few times as they were novel at the time, but did not keep as im looking for the black cherry soda pheno, which is absolutely amazing tasting!!! Should try more seeds of this strain someday.

6. Ripped Bubba - had one that sort of smelled like lemon/lime and coffee. A guess this is what I was supposed to end up with given the parents, but not the greatest smoke of all. Only ran it a couple times .. average all around.

7. Pandoras Box - Had 3 phenos. 2 were nearly the same, super airy (canned based on structure and appearance alone) with a faint lime/lemon thing smell wise. the 3rd pheno was a keeper for a while. Had nice frost, better density than the other two by far. Potent smoke, but ultimately did not keep cause of the slow veg time and low yield in the end.

8. The void - Had 4 females. 3 were nearly all the same. All not keepers, super hairy buds, slight fruity funk smell. Pheno 4 was a keeper for a while for sure. Nice plump buds, totally opposite of the all the other phenos. Tasted nice, but canned because it got tinges of molds on the inside of buds that were too phat :)

9. Cheesequake - picked up a clone at a local dispensary. Seems like this pheno is right on 50/50 of its parents. Smells of the exodus cheese but with structure of a querkle. So far this is my keeper until my last two exodus cheese phenos finish, which might beat it out for cheesiness!

10. Jacks Cleaner 2 - In the beginning process of trying out this one, in hopes of finding a pheno that has a strong but pleasant lemon smell and flavor. Seeds all popped up with vigor and seem to be off to a great start.

11. Ace of spades - havnt had the pleasure of growing this one myself, but sampled a piece from a dispensary and it was mouth watering delicious. Must of been leaning on that black cherry soda flavor. Would love that pheno, so will be trying to get these seeds one day.

12. Agent orange - also havnt tried, but is on my radar for when I get around to hunt for an orange flavor and smelling strain that's not too overpowering.

I cant speak about a person i have not met much less "behind their back" so i will just say my clones of chernobyl were vigorous growers and i have some frosty nugs that smell of rubber w a hint of lime.
