These pics are from day 25 of 12/12. Something I learned with this tent is to always use drip irrigation. it makes life so much easier. I figured that 4 plants is easy enough to water, and it is. If i didnt have other grows going on that are always needing my time i prob wouldnt have installed in irrigation, but i am so happy i did.

bottoms of the plants to show irrigation and the cleaning of the undersides.

Hmmm, it is getting pretty Big! How much do you think you will yield? How do you set the watering? Multiple per day or like every other day? I read how multiple waterings per day could increase yields. How does that work? Just a little water each time? That seems like they would get over watered or not completely watered each time. Maybe they grow in very light mediums like coco.

Enlighten me...;)

Who's grow is this anyways? Bog

Hey BOG, Good to see you, Hope you are well. I am smoking a J and sending positive vibes your way. I agree they are getting big. I am excited to see them through finish, though I am sad to say that the pheno in the front right will probably be no longer because the clones from this plant were accidentally destroyed by my grow partner. I could always attempt to reveg it and take clones after its done.

I am thinking of hitting them with some Sb pollen. Bog, How much variation do you see in Sour Bubble f2's? and if it helps, i don't know what sb this is, but i got it from you last year at the emerald cup.

As far as yield goes, I am not sure. I am not familiar enough with this plant. It looks like I should clear the pound mark. I am growing this tent all for quality not quantity. I am just trying to keep the ladies as happy and healthy as they can be and let them do their thing. If its as good as I am hoping/expecting it will be my personal meds and perhaps shared with a few friends.

As far as the irrigation goes, since this is a little tent I am not to concerned with automating the irrigation so I am just hooking it up to a pump each day at lights on and watering them usually 1.25-1.5 gallons of water each day and that seems to be just slightly not enough so every third day or so i give them each about 2 gallons and it seems to be working well.
I mostly just look at the plants, they tell me if they are thirsty or not. It seems that when they are happy the leaves are all perky and either pointed up slightly or pointing straight out collecting light. If they are even slightly droopy I feel the leaf stems and if they feel super plump and full of water, I assume its slightly over watered and ease up a little. And on the other end if they feel a little limp and not as filled with water, I assume they are under watered.

I remember hearing the same thing about watering soil multiple times a day, and if i remember right i think the assumption was that the drying out was doing something harmful to the microbial life in the soil. I personally think that isn't the case unless they are forced to dry out to fast. Almost all bacterium, fungi and protists have a capacity to go dormant if the environment isn't ideal. I googled it and found this, its worth a read.

I took these last night right before the lights came on. This is at day 33 of 12/12.
Sad day too, I discovered a few spider mites in the tent on two of the plants. Not many but enough that I saw a few and saw a few leaves with little white dots from the suckers. Cest le vie, These ladies are far enough along that i will just remove leaves if they have a lot of mites or eggs and just be diligent to make sure they don't take over the buds.

predatory insects would probably be the best bet this late in the game. plants still look nice though, so best wishes on the rest of the grow.

I do have a sulphur burner and I have considered that route though, from what I recall if the leaves have any neem left on them the sulfur will fry them and some of the leaves are shiny enough to make me hesitant. I have been just letting the humidity raise quite high for an hour or so at a time a few times a day to try to slow down the rate of growth and reproduction, but i have no idea how effective that is. It looks like even if I were to let it go completely that I would still probably be fine except for maybe a few lower buds would get mites on them.

This grow is great thanks for sharing it with us. How are you managing the temps in a 4x4 tent with a 1000w light?

I don't really. I have a little exhaust fan in there. Maybe 2-300 cfm can't remember passive intake vents with the tent in an airconditioned house. Temps are at around 75 with lights on and off cuz the lights are on at night when it's a little cooler in e house.
