Looks to me like caterpillar or grasshopper damage to me. This happens every now and again to my outdoor plants.

I didn't think it was caterpillars because I couldn't find any and I don't have problems in my outdoor plant (so I thought why have it indoor?)
At this point, I'll check better.

inclined to grasshoppers rather than caterpillars.
Either way, the bugger must be around for another helping, so stay vigilant...
