driving a vehicle on a legitimate road?

How old will you be when you stop driving (or stopped)?

How old were your parents when you had to take the keys away?

Started driving legally @ 15 y/o. I'll stop driving when I feel(or am told) it's unsafe for me to drive.
My mother stopped driving in her mid 80's when her doctor told her. My father is in his 90's and still driving. And it will be one hell of a fight when my sister & I have to take dad's keys. Last time I saw him driving(6 months ago) he was doing it safely.IMHO

A: 12 (my dad would give me the keys)

B: curious

C: a 90 yr old is the oldest person I've seen drive.

many i know are asking themselves if it is time to take away dad's keys?

I am thinking driving for many is like gun ownership..the keys will release from their 'cold dead hands.' jpt

I was 14, I had two elderly ladies that I did chores for to earn money. Sixteen is legal. At first I would just turn their car around and back it in for them, so it was easier for them to leave. Then of course I had to move it to sweep the garage out. Before anybody know it I was taking the car to the gas station to have the snow tires put on or taken off. Going to pick something up for them at the grocery store, just about any excuse I could come up with to get to drive their sweet 1962 Chevy Belair. They even thought it would be "good practice" for me. Little did they know, I would sometimes pick up a friend to go "cruising" with. I love driving that car.

Unfortunately all good things must come to an end. My driving career was one of them. One day I had just dropped off my buddy, came back to their house and as I was backing in, I glance up at the their picture window only to see my Mom and Dad with the two old ladies glaring at me. Needless to say, that is when the keys got taken away until I was 16.

driving a vehicle on a legitimate road?.......about 8 or 9 when driving to the feed store it was about 16 miles round trip. The sheriff and the drunk deputy knew all of us kids were underaged. My grandpa used to send me to the liquor store then also

How old will you be when you stop driving (or stopped)? when I can´t see anymore......a few years if it keeps getting worse. lol

How old were your parents when you had to take the keys away? I hear my dad does not drive anymore and mom does not need to. Soon.
