Skip's Kif

Hi all, i'm called lorcanlive from SE Ireland. I used to have a garden 12 years ago but alas the blueboys found it, I got 3 years suspended, lucky that my crop had been harvested prior to their visit. But they still took all my kit (lights etc.)
I just noticed Skip mentioned Kif and i would like to tell you what i learned when on honeymoon, in 1977, in Ketama, Rif mountains, Morocco. Kif is a mixture of bush and tobacco, sold in like 1/4 oz bags. It's mixed cos that is to 'water' it down cos its too strong to smoke pure. The older generation sit about in cafes smoking their sipsi pipes.

Yes, that is what the locals smoke, cause it's also cheaper and milder than pure hash. Locals will often mix whatever is on hand, including tobacco, buds, trichs or hash. However, kif commonly refers to the trichs themselves.
