I think he meant he knows he indirectly got his cuts from prop. It all comes down to prop having given lump cuts and from there it goes to thin mint and or cookie Maine. You ever notice they all run the same cuts with the exception of a few? Same hash tags? Bwahahaha its like a big ol circle jerk.

If your getting that funky-og hit then your sounds legit. Like you said hard to put into words...
Most people I smoke with say right away that it tastes like peppermint og kush. I get a chocolate aftertaste similar to a good Master Kush or Bubba.
If I saw some OG Kush, and it didn't have that "og kush" smell, I couldn't sell sell it as OG Kush. I wouldn't buy it.
Same with cookies. No thin mint smell... not gonna buy it.
Same with Cherry Pie. And Sherbert. Just saw pounds of Sherbert that barely had any smell, no one wanted it even for $25. Saw some other Sherbert with a very "Cookies" kind of smell. That was $4.. as in 4K !
Smell and taste are everything nowadays.
No one argues about how wasted wine gets you. But they do argue about flavor and smell and age (cure).
I am sure your guys weed is awesome, works great strengthwise. Your buds all look hella amazing. Bigger and better than mine.

But, I have to say the Kushman's Veganic GS Cookies is the best picture of a GSC bud I have ever seen. As we all know, the cookies is a hard to one to capture in a photo... but man oh man that Kushman Veganic version from Bud & Roses Collective looks picture perfect!

I can never get a really great photo of the dried buds.
Live plants yes, but I have a hard time capturing all the detail of the darker colored bits on the dried pics.
A lot of times it gets all smooshed looking...

I saw all of them in person. OGKushman's ogkb and cookie monster killed both of those entries. His pics on instagram were mouth watering. Kyle grows great strong herb, but I don't find it to be very aesthetically pleasing. Awesome dude though, very happy to know him and have been gifted many different samples from him to smoke. He did a phenomenal job on the kosher he entered in LA. I was surprised it didn't place. The gth#1 that took 2nd there was solid, but not my cup of tea.
You might be tired, but if it isn't thin mints, chocolate or pie crust, then it isn't GSC.
Those things matter, because they are the traits of the strain. If you don't have something that mirrors traits of the strain, then you have bad genetic selection at best.
Which means it shouldn't be sold, marketed or smoked as the thing it is claiming to be. It isn't like GSC, it isn't similar to GSC, it just plain isn't.
Keeping up standards will allow this fad to die or stand the test of time, and all the marketeers and clowns to be identified as such.

floral heart, u are misinformed. Different peoples noses seem to get different smells from the herb. My nephew told me my forum cut had a mintyness to it, to me it smells like a kushy donut shop. No mint. Ive yet to ever smoke any weed with a mint profile, maybe I have a different interpretation of what "mint" smells and tastes like. I was at the cannabis cup in sf, none of the cookies smelt like mint, and I had a jar of my own and had vendors wanting to trade cuz mine was off the chain. Berner told me "yeah that's the real cookies" and from what I have heard he pretty close to the cookie creators.

Some people don't know how to make the terpenes pop. They shoot for potency. 95% of the time my herb smells and tastes better than other people's. may not be the prettiest or the strongest, but that shit is "loud." Lol. I hate that term.

Ive never had a mint flavor or aroma with forum.. Theres something in the taste though.. Something unique that I cant put my finger on.. I think thats what people are talking about when they say cookie dough, but I could be wrong..
It has its occasional spot in my garden.. I love it for daytime smoke.. Very clear and social weed..

Wtf is everyone down voting hammer for? Ive smoke a million cookies and ive never gotten a true mint taste. Chocolatey og with doughie goodness and a hippie funk to it. Almost like patchoulie. Maybe thats where ppl get the mint i dunno but i agree with hammer they dont all have to taste like mint to be gsc. My og tastes unlike anyone ive tried. I get nail polish and so do others. Then some say m crazy and it smells like a skunk. Others say lemons and pine. Its all up to peoples palates. Similar to wine tasting. Someone could taste peach in a chardonnay and another could taste melon.
