How Low can Indoor prices go?

in this instance, I would pay whatever you wanted. The problem is for most growers in my area, headstash goes to the grower or exported where Im at and the rest gets shuffled down the food chain. If they had to smoke what they offered their patients or customers, they prolly wouldn't keep growing. In Oregon with the new dispensary law, I believe a small personal grower can sell to the dispensary's just like a big cash cropper, so that may level out the quality aspect, there's a big disparity of quality here. Won't be as big a pile, but hopefully better quality. Not just between indoor and out, but people growing yield only strains, hype strains, etc. Club Im around is gettin 17 a gram, 325 an ozzie. Sometimes its good, sometimes its not, depends upon the name.

I agree wholeheartedly.. I take a great deal of time and resources to put out a product thats is some of the best out. If I wont smoke it I wont offer it to anyone if she does not meet my stringent requirements. I have had plants that went straight into the hash bin. that has not happend in some time. I dont have any strains that are not outstanding. There are many more strains/Phenos that do not meet my requirements. It does take time to find them and get them dialed in. This all adds to the cost you want the best you will pay for the best..

i was doing some pollen chuckin with the GG x Querkle. Seeds are done need to try some :) GG is one fantastic strain I love it. the best I have used in years. Better then GSC....This is my top shelf with a 3k price in a med state. Anyone can say no thanks thats to much I say you wont find a better quality strain anywhere. They still buy the lesser quality "I DON'T GET IT?"

Gota let all the summer beaster buds get through. The market will get saturated with it very soon...

Hammer sometimes all they can see is the number and how many strains are on their shelves. The fact that your quality is the best and highest price for a reason simply isnt considered by the unmotivated and weak club owners around. Some think if yours sells out first, they are only selling one thing and all their other mid shelf sits there. However, they dont realize that all those sales still matter and put money in everyones pockets and keep their business thriving and more popular due to the sick shit the patients just medicated with. I wish i could just shake these fools sometimes. Fortunately im in with some that respect what i ask and we have an understanding. I will not work my ass off to be better than the rest to get paid the same.

hmmm yall be good deals in those medi states .. here in this non medi state you are looking in the 3200-5000 range .. it is bullshit , i need to find a plug in Michigan lmao

LOL I feel your pain..... sort-ta. Having trouble deciding where to vacation....

Maybe Washington? Or a stay in Colorado for vacation....

Used to be arms and foreign countries...and still is. It's always something.

Cutting a Jilly Beans by the end of the month, I'm thinking. Just grow for my own amusement. So to speak. :tiphat:

In the PRK

The cost of growing indoors is killing prices as much as the availability of good weed.
Only the energy thieves and big warehouse growers can make money growing indoors.

As I recall the last time most people I knew who could get $300 an oz. or $4800 lb was 6 years ago. Since 2008 prices dropping like a rock and the overhead cost going up. Now be lucky to get $2800 for even the best of the mythical unicorn / Haley's comet strains.

The PRK is now surrounded almost two states deep by other states with their own MMJ laws, so now who gives damn about Kaly weed. This isn't the 90's or early y2k anymore. The mid-west states don't need Kaly weed when they can get it from the other MMJ states.

edit 11/2013
$2500.

I just wanna grow a lets say 10k ultra clean sealed room style dust and lint free weed for the sick ( I do caregive for a paraplegic wheel chair bound friend) and connoisseurs. Just like craft beers brewers coming out with new or limited new flavors. Everybody got weed A.D.D. meaning you get bored of the same herb, so new strains(flavors) need to be invented to keep interest up and the growers to be compensated for the hard work. People need to respect the growers who are really doing and trying to put out a good clean product, which can be hard to find or prove.
You people who buy weed have jobs and you expect to be a paid a certain wage for your the work you do at your job but then many of you people have no problem low balling other hard working people for their goods and/or services.

Just had a fun experience at a disp. our market is 24-28 depending on strain and quality, i brought in some of the best bubba kush ive done to 2 diff shops. showed them the whole unit and then gave each place a sample. First spot i said id like 28, expecting to go to 26 cause i will go NO lower on bubba. He says they have too much good stuff in that price range and just cant take it, so i went to their shelf and pulled a few jars of "top" shelf meds, and it was GARBAGE by comparison. Basically if he took my meds for the same top shelf rates hes taking garbage for he'd embarrass himself to every patient cause nobody would wanna buy the half assed top shelf meds, really sad.

Second place, gave me cash in hand at the top end of my asking price, smoked me out with a few of their other samples and gave me a medicated berry soda for the road.

Which of these 2 places do you think i will be returning too? lol. Grow good herb and you wont have a problem getting the higher end of your asking price. it takes time and dedication, and the ability to say to yourself i could have done better to constantly improve your grow. Cause every time somebody brings in "chemdog" to a dispensary thats shit and then i show up with the real one done well, itll put the shitty grower outta their spot real quick.

Truth.

A lot of very insightful posts in this thread.

Will be interesting to see how the 100$ lbs look in 2016

Up north

Here in my little country Quebec, the prices are 800$ 1000$ for an outdoor pound and 1600-2500 for the super strains thats because we are near the border so most of it goes to NY and the illegal states
