Shameless was great for the 1st couple of series, but it got ridiculous after a while. It did start out as a pretty good no bullshit depiction of life on a council estate in Northern England.

Shameless was great for the 1st couple of series, but it got ridiculous after a while. It did start out as a pretty good no bullshit depiction of life on a council estate in Northern England.

bang on harry! first two series were good after that an a much bigger budget,,it became ridiculous,,did paul abbott write anymore of the series other then the first and second i assume? if he didnt that would explain the massive drop in quality ,,,,s2

I have to wait until tomorrow to watch it on Netflix. I'll be getting rid of Netflix as soon as Breaking Bad is done because the selection is crap for UK users.

I know he stopped doing at some point but don't know when.
It started out as a slightly comedic drama but turned into a live action cartoon.
