Have any strain specific micron sizes been mentioned. What size trich's does bubba have or haze or og have?

What material is the screen you use Dsw if i may ask?
When you said adesive foam is affixed on the frame i've tought about a circular sieve in a cylinder that can go up and down creating...static? Ndegative/positive pressure?
lovin the trivia style, this sub forum has never been so hot!

Well I guess Sam is not interested in getting involved in the discussion. There has been no more talk of an automated way to do this, I don't know how you could do what i do with any machine you could make sell and make money on.
I use printing silk screen although I doubt it is silk, nylon i guess. I am going to experiment this year with some different size mesh. My biggest problem is I am starting to have trouble with my wrists and working for a couple hours is all i can do anymore. Again I have to say they have been killer white hash for a long time without perfectly sized mesh or any power.

then I was sworn to keep the method to myself. He gave me a 43&77

I'm guessing what you are doing is not a secret (and was written about in Rob Clarke's "Hashish!", it an old Afghan technique) it involves putting a handful of dry, not wet, dry sift ed resin in an all mesh bag, the bag (or a mesh cloth gathered at the top) is lifted and dropped repeatedly, the holes of the mesh are small enough for the resin heads to remain in the bag while the smaller sized contaminant, stalks, dust and small size resin heads pass through the mesh leaving a more purer dry sift in the bag....it works better if the sift you start with has been re-sifted to remove the contaminant that is larger than the mature, large size resin heads .

I got a feeling ^^this might be it...maybe not actually dropping the bag onto a hard surface, but a screen? the wrist thing works with what I've been thinking, it's a motion that is allowing the heads to "do their thang" lol....

^^Ester already mentioned that method in another thread.

All praise be to the melty white resin!

I don't think sams will be coming into this thread, cause if we work it out..no machine.
He might just be busy sifting the white gold?

You're right...it's hard o keep track of things when the same subject is spread out over lots of threads, the same thing happened with Sam's secret method, as there's been lots of threads over the years about it and just about everything suggested here about Wiz's method has already been asked or guessed about over and over again on the many threads about Sam's method.

and from the few hints that Sam has mentioned over the years and the many more that Wiz has dropped about his recently, I think the two methods are similar in theory, but still differ somewhat on how they are done ...anyway, if the secret comes out soon, good, if not, I and thousands like me will still be happy to make their own dry sift with existing methods and be super happy doing so...one thing is for sure, whatever method you use or what your aim is as far as quality versus yield, it really gives great personal satisfaction to make your own hash

.maybe not actually dropping the bag onto a hard surface,

actually, that's correct, thanks for clarifying that, I should of written it better

..... (do this while standing up) the bag is held in the air and lifted then suddenly dropped down then jerked up again, over and over again, all without touching the ground or a table etc.

another variation on this (theoretically) is to have one mesh bag with the dry sift inside and another larger size bag with finer holes surrounding the inside bag and do the lift and jerk upwards thing..but I guess both the inner and outer bags would need to be able to hold a ball shape.

^but what we forget is the arn't going to tell us if we guess right anyway...
still fun though.
You actually need to "try" each method for yourself to find out.
I just need a few tones of kief to practise..lol.

Looks good, I'd hit that! that nice light tan color is an indication of dry sift that doesn't contain heaps of leaf contaminant, but under magnification, there would probably be more stalks and bits of plant matter than actual resin heads, that's not a bad thing, I like to smoke dry sift like that, it will have nice flavor, warm my ears and will burn well without the need for a bed of ash or bud tp sit on as it won't melt through the mesh as it is lit.

You should always press the kief the old timers in countries I visited never smoke unpressed kief. I have aged my pressed dry for 2 years see my pics. The purest #1 drysift smells peppery, without much ganga smell or taste, The smell and taste are in the #2 tumble. I gave you guys the screen sizes only 2 screens are needed. Freezing doesn't help it is to cold. If you think about the yield it takes a lot of kief to make 99%, 10% you need 1000 grams to make 100 grams. The only way I can make anything off the process is my "hash from trash" biz, folks give me their trim and I get half of what i make. I have very loyal friends who are not interested in any bubblebho bullcrap, they want the best. I have lost sleep the last couple nights trying to figure out, what to do, i want to tell folks how to do it but my word is my word. I have dropped so many hints that I already feel like I have said too much. Someone said they won't tell even if we figure it out, here is one more clue, if you figure it out you will know.

That's not it. Not even close, actually, heh. :p

Thought you said NOT to break stuff up?

:ying:Mack.

I did. But I also said I don't use buds.. I use trim and as few buds as possible.

When it comes to something this terrible, where there is basically zero leaf surface to be found, it's gonna take breaking them up to get those fuckers outta there. It's not my first choice, and it takes a couple minutes longer.. (literally, 2 minutes).. but joo gotta do it with stuff that terrible.

I was more curious if the method would still work... and it did.
